I belive what Jason means is something like: "yeah, you're smart, so you don´t need to work too much to produce a good product. But, guess what? Out there there are hundreds of geniuses as smart as you, and they work harder than you. Who you think will win?

Jason is confused and completely clouded in his vision for business and the need to work harder. He isn't realizing that DHH is saying to BEAT the work-a-holics you make products BETTER than they do, not more COMPLEX than they. You don't work harder you work smarter. Too bad Jason hasn't taken 5 minutes of his life to sit and reflect on life and instead comes from a clouded fear-bearing lens. /honest feedback no offense love ya Jason.

David is my idol. I wish Jason would shut his mouth to let him talk. He believes the same thing I do: If it isn't making money, then it isn't making sense.

I wish more people would watch this and listen to David. I think Jason misses the point here - profits matter. Nothing else.
