renu has done a terrific job of the song. generally, i just dont watch these talent shows, but this one stopped me and made me watch, coz the girl was fully involved in the song. as the judge said, she brought the feel / soul of the song out, which most are missing nowadays. she is the next shreya ghoshal.

voice is good but there are so many unknown singers who has the same "kind of voice" now. The competition to enter cinema now is tougher unless they are 100% perfect. No cinema singer now has different job other than singing and they will not openly accept good singing from others to recommend.

I disagree. If someone takes the competition seriously and practices, there is no need for a lyric sheet. And secondly, if one does not internalise lyrics, and also the meaning, it is impossible to sing with feel and focus on the small aspects of the tune. Instead, one will be too busy trying to read the lyrics correctly.
