because the N64 cartridges would have difficulty storing the video file, most n64 games have real time cinematic intro instead of FMV

Why didn't you mention the controls, which are REALLY skrewed up in the N64 version. When I'm trying to steer the car just a LITTLE, TINY bit, it litterly spins around everywhere making the N64 version much harder than it really needs to be. Now don't get me wrong, I love this game too. I got the PC version instead though.

Due to Nintendo 64's lack of full-motion video, they decided to get the intro from the demo version and put it as the actual intro. It makes sense, considering Nintendo 64 is a cartridge-based system. Nintendo was still stuck with cartridges.

@SuperXD25 its the same as on any N64 for game! When you turn on the game, hold down the start button! It pulls up the save data on the data pack. If I can remember when you're done deleting data it will ask you if you want to start the game. If not all you have to do is restart the game after deleting data! Hope I could help!

My dad found a nintendo 64 out in a field outside his work, with this cartridge inside. I didn't get to play it until about 6 years later (when I WAS 6) . Thank God my dad didn't take a car to work.

Lol, when I was a kid I actually went out and got a Controller Pak just for this game... It was so awesome. I played the crap out of this game. I beat everyone, had every track and car set... It was the best driving game out there at the time. The only 2 that rivaled it for me were Mario Kart 64 and the Cruisn games (USA and World). Too bad they don't do more games like this. I have Lego Racers 2 and it's just not the same, although it is a good game. I hope they make a Lego Racers 3.

wow i used to play this at my friends house about %80 of the time and for several months the create a racer music was in my head (in a good way).

i loved this game as a kid it was the first one i ever recieved as a present. i played it non stop. the music isnt memorable but once i hear it i know what it is instantly.

lego racers for the pc is still awesome today and but the 2nd lego racers wasn't as fun as the 1st and i hope lego are going to make a lego racers 3 just like the 1st one :)

haha i have this game for N64. It sucks because it would never save for us. Even though we had a car. So my brother and i had to beat it in one day.

The last level was intense against the boss guy.

It was a good challenging game.
