@imloslitos most of these sounds are mixes of sounds from the Red State trumpet scene, War of the Worlds tripods, the Cloverfield monster roar, the game Mass Effect's reapers, and the Super 8 monster roar. And then the sounds are slowed down or sped up but it's all the same fake. Watch and listen to those clips and it's obvious

i made a hoax video with some sound from youtube, and got like 8,000 views, people started saying that they heard it too even the same day i "supposedly" hear it... then i made an explanation video to shut up some morons, and they still say its real.. hahaha people are just fucking idiots!! i have heard some similar sounds, but they are leaves blowers, constructions, airplanes, trains etc... now people hear some normal everyday sounds and "think" they heard something supernatural!
I agree some videos are obviously fake. Put in costa rica there was strange sounds that numerous people reported. They even did a news report because so many people reported hearing strange sounds. But the sounds are not like that. they sound like drums.

@Junior13274 the sound was reported as explosions and it turned out that a fireworks company set 150 bomblets that night. it's like the baseball game videos, we know what the sound was but people still post the videos and pretend as if something weird is going on or as if every sound anyone hears is somehow related and a reason to panic.
@V00D00SIXXX You're right they have festivals that end with fireworks in san jose .. I researched it but they said that some towns as far away as 50 miles away heard it too. It is impossible for a firework to be that loud. i know there are skeptics but really? are you saying that fireworks are that loud? I live in the city when down-town has its fireworks, i could barely hear them and i live like 13 miles away from down-town. All i know is that Earth's magnetic field is changing.

Hi I am from Orem, Utah. And I am somewhat revealed to hear your analysis. I am pretty sure there is an explanation for the sounds but I heard some noise little bit like the sound these people were talking about last night and it got my attention. My wife also heard but we both could not quite identify the source sound. It seemed the sound was coming from a car that was driving by. It was near Walmart. I heard this kinda shit in Victoria BC Canada. The majority of the videos made by fucking morons may be able to be debunked, but I heard something similar to this for myself. Earlier in the day there was thunder, and we NEVER have thunder here!!! Then that evening I heard the strange sound which I thought was a truck tryin' to get up the hill, but it was at like a constant distance, and had a weird metal like sound. Vehicle noises don't give me a weird feeling in my gut, and that did!!

CTV news in North Battleford Saskatchewan Canada did a story on it. The mayor and several other people were interviewed. I agree that some people are making a mockery of this event but it happened none the less.
@briere1970 ive already spoken with the city officials there, the mayor says it was most likely a snowplow and wasnt actually heard by as many people as other people are letting on. it was pretty isolated and heard by less than 50 people. well within range of a snowplow on asphalt or even someone just blasting some noise through a stereo. nothing has become of it.

There are fake videos and people cutting sound bytes of original footage and putting it in their own videos BUT the fact of the matter is that these sound are REAL. I know because I heard them in mid january of this year in San Diego California around 2am. This is no hoax. I only wish there was an explanation for this phenomenon but so far no one truly knows.

Oh now the strange sound phenomenon isnt fun anymore! Months ago I heard a strange sound late at night (3AM) in Seattle, I even drove around the neighborhood trying to locate the source. Maybe I was just going crazy, or perhaps something was being tested at Boeing Field. Who knows, that sound may be happening in the day, but we're all too busy to notice. I went searching online for news of it, and it brought me to the hoaxes on youtube. Go figure.

Just to clarify, do you think the sounds people are actually hearing outdoors (not YouTube videos obviously hoaxed) are also random hoaxes by people with... P.A. systems or something? I heard the sounds myself and I'm trying to gauge the likelihood of it being random unconnected hoaxers, or a bizarre viral ad campaign, or... what. Bottom line is, I heard the sounds and I'd like to know how they're being done, regardless. It was so loud that it -definitely- wasn't someone's stereo, for example.

@Winterwonderland2207 When I heard it, I was about a mile south of an industrial district on the edge of northeast Winnipeg, so my thought at the time was it must have been some huge machinery or damn loud factory process making the noise. It -seemed- to be coming from roughly north at ground level, as opposed to from the sky, but it was only a general sort of direction. I couldn't pinpoint it the way you can with a loud car stereo nearby. I THINK the sound is man-made.

@ChrisGranger: But if it is coming from ground level and you can kind of pin point a direction then chances are it is indeed man-made. Some people say it's coming from underground but that doesn't make any sense because it's too clear and it can't be coming from the sky because many people like you have indeed pin pointed as best they could what direction it was coming from.

Explanation falls short. The noises are REAL NOISES they may be natural, super natural, man made but they are real noises. I heard them in Phoenix AZ was with a friend, he didnt hear it until i pointed it out to him, with all the noises that we put with often we can't hear the birds, you saying it is a hoax doesnt make it so. My theory is that the scientist running the giant LRAD/HAARP weapon responsible for piping sound into the atmosphere is feeding the mentioned sound byte in as input. If the weapon is capable of modulating audio, which they are, there is no reason they couldn't pipe in this same sound from War Of the Worlds as a test. That's what I would do. The whole point is to determine the effectiveness of the weapon. These videos just go to show that the weapon is effective at invoking mass fear.

most of the videos are fake, but I did hear strange trumpeting sound over New Orleans this past weekend, I was on other side of the misssipi river accross from the french quater, we were staying at a (ywam house ) there for Mardi Gras to share the gospel, the sound was in the sky over city, I cant describe it, but several people from our group did hear it, One of are groups son is atistic and the sound scared him, he related it to tornado sirens. it lasted 20 minutes

@imloslitos most of these sounds are mixes of sounds from the Red State trumpet scene, War of the Worlds tripods, the Cloverfield monster roar, the game Mass Effect's reapers, and the Super 8 monster roar. And then the sounds are slowed down or sped up but it's all the same fake. Watch and listen to those clips and it's obvious

I agree some videos are obviously fake. Put in costa rica there was strange sounds that numerous people reported. They even did a news report because so many people reported hearing strange sounds. But the sounds are not like that. they sound like drums.

It is impossible for a firework to be that loud. i know there are skeptics but really? are you saying that fireworks are that loud? My wife also heard but we both could not quite identify the source sound. It seemed the sound was coming from a car that was driving by. It was near Walmart. I heard this kinda shit in Victoria BC Canada. The majority of the videos made by fucking morons may be able to be debunked, but I heard something similar to this for myself. Earlier in the day there was thunder, and we NEVER have thunder here!!! Then that evening I heard the strange sound which I thought was a truck tryin' to get up the hill, but it was at like a constant distance, and had a weird metal like sound. Vehicle noises don't give me a weird feeling in my gut, and that did!!

@briere1970 ive already spoken with the city officials there, the mayor says it was most likely a snowplow and wasnt actually heard by as many people as other people are letting on. it was pretty isolated and heard by less than 50 people. well within range of a snowplow on asphalt or even someone just blasting some noise through a stereo. nothing has become of it.

There are fake videos and people cutting sound bytes of original footage and putting it in their own videos BUT the fact of the matter is that these sound are REAL. I know because I heard them in mid january of this year in San Diego California around 2am. This is no hoax. I only wish there was an explanation for this phenomenon but so far no one truly knows.

Oh now the strange sound phenomenon isnt fun anymore! Months ago I heard a strange sound late at night (3AM) in Seattle, I even drove around the neighborhood trying to locate the source. Maybe I was just going crazy, or perhaps something was being tested at Boeing Field. Who knows, that sound may be happening in the day, but we're all too busy to notice. Just to clarify, do you think the sounds people are actually hearing outdoors (not YouTube videos obviously hoaxed) are also random hoaxes by people with... P.A. systems or something? I heard the sounds myself and I'm trying to gauge the likelihood of it being random unconnected hoaxers, or a bizarre viral ad campaign, or... what. Bottom line is, I heard the sounds and I'd like to know how they're being done, regardless. It was so loud that it -definitely- wasn't someone's stereo, for example.

@Winterwonderland2207 When I heard it, I was about a mile south of an industrial district on the edge of northeast Winnipeg, so my thought at the time was it must have been some huge machinery or damn loud factory process making the noise. It -seemed- to be coming from roughly north at ground level, as opposed to from the sky, but it was only a general sort of direction. I couldn't pinpoint it the way you can with a loud car stereo nearby. I THINK the sound is man-made.

Some people say it's coming from underground but that doesn't make any sense because it's too clear and it can't be coming from the sky because many people like you have indeed pin pointed as best they could what direction it was coming from.

Thanks for making this video. I noticed the squeak noise in the Kiev video and the one with the Canadian guy with the rabbits, and I was hoping someone would put them side by side so I didn't have to. Because I'm lazy. I'm actually kinda sad it's a hoax. I was having a lot of fun freaking myself out with all the videos. There are still some other non-trumpet noises, though, so maybe it's not ALL a hoax.

Explanation falls short. The noises are REAL NOISES they may be natural, super natural, man made but they are real noises. I heard them in Phoenix AZ was with a friend, he didnt hear it until i pointed it out to him, with all the noises that we put with often we can't hear the birds, you saying it is a hoax doesnt make it so. I heard them myself. Truth is stranger than fiction. Your video proves nothing as I have heard it outside for myself. Remember everyone thought the world was flat too.

@Mainsail76 actually...he did not prove anything. he showed no concrete proof. the sounds may be similar, but he hasn't shown any proof that they are the same. and as for the voice...i wasn't talkin about just his accent...i am originally from louisianna...most of my family sounds worse than him, accent-wise. i was talking about how he presented himself. he obviously hasn't watched ALL the videos, cuz the "strange sounds" are actually not the same. My theory is that the scientist running the giant LRAD/HAARP weapon responsible for piping sound into the atmosphere is feeding the mentioned sound byte in as input. If the weapon is capable of modulating audio, which they are, there is no reason they couldn't pipe in this same sound from War Of the Worlds as a test. That's what I would do. The whole point is to determine the effectiveness of the weapon. These videos just go to show that the weapon is effective at invoking mass fear.

most of the videos are fake, but I did hear strange trumpeting sound over New Orleans this past weekend, I was on other side of the misssipi river accross from the french quater, we were staying at a (ywam house ) there for Mardi Gras to share the gospel, the sound was in the sky over city, I cant describe it, but several people from our group did hear it, One of are groups son is atistic and the sound scared him, he related it to tornado sirens. it lasted 20 minutes

The dog in that video, was in no way reacting to the sounds, he/she was reacting to her name being said and was expecting to be played with. You need to do better than that.
