I meant CN stopped airing the show recently. I'm VERY well aware DBZ wasn't canceled in production, I just meant Airing.

Kinda like how toonami was "canceled". I didn't mean it literally for DBZ or any of those animes, simply that they were no longer aired on that network.

Ruroni Kenshin wasn't canceled although the anime ends after teh shishio arc, and the rest is filler (ultra lame), while YYH had a complete 112 episode anime based on the manga

Being cut was probably for the best.

Originally, back when I watched it nearly 10 years ago, it was on every night during weekdays from 5 to 7 pm, and from 7 to 11 pm on saturday, with no toonami on sunday

THEN it was replaced weekdays with maguzi, which sucked ass, but I think had rave master (which I swear I saw once, then never again), and only on Saturdays

Then it was cut by 2 hours on saturdays, so it was only on 2 hours a week

2 hours... no hours...

so depressing ='(

Still, I can't believe how degraded it got between 04-05 and 08. I remember at the end, all it had was like Naruto and 1 episode of DBZ, along with one other Anime which i enjoyed less than the previous two.

Seriously, Toonami was so damn great 5ish years ago, and then slowly started degrading.

At least I'll keep the memories of spending saturday nights watching anime, but it just doesn't fill the void XD

Adult swim was awesome when it had Futurama + family guy, along with Full metal alchemist and Blood+.
