I'm not assuming that at all. I am thinking that most people who were going to vote for hillary, particularly those who are moved by identity politics are VERY likely to be pro-choice. So among former Hillary voters who McCain is trying to pick up how many of them will vote for a woman who is anti-choice? That's the idea with that sentiment.

You're right the one thing she does help him with are the social conservatives who are skeptical of McCain but I think most of them were planning to hold their nose and vote for him anyway. She will get a few more people excited enough to actually go to the polls though.

I agree with pretty much everything you've said here but I am still hoping like hell that we can have a REAL revolution that is non-violent. If it's done violently it wouldn't be a revolution at all--just the same old crap. But there are times when I fear violence might eventually be all we have left. At this point we can still do it legally but it's going to take a hell of a lot more than NOT electing McCain.

I share many views with you that others would dismiss as paranoia but I think that we will have the election. It's a major aspect of the constitution and the reason they set it up that way was precisely to avoid the type of thing you're afraid will happen. I'm not saying it's impossible but I think it's unlikely that the election will be postponed.
