  • LOL CANADA IS NOTHING

  • "The Walrus Was Paul."

    -John Lennon

Haha, I just had to throw that at you but the video is great, I love it.

  • @KevyNova

    It is great isn't it?

He did indeed say 'The Walrus was Paul' in the White Album song 'Glass Onion'. However he only did that in order to be nice to Paul since the their attitudes to each other were changing so it's a sort of 'Thanks for everything you did for The Beatles Paul'. Also John was a huge fan of Lewis Carroll but found out 'The Walrus' was the bad guy in 'Alice and Wonderland and The Carpenter was the good one - he got the two mixed up.

  • whys it called i met the walrus?

  • @007samtheman Its called the walrus cuz....look at the magical mystery tour jacket picture...they have masks on and john is wearing the mask of ??? .....the walrus, right you are!

  • This is so great. Thanks!

  • I love how they put nothing on Canada XD

  • this is amazing best speach ever!

  • Uh. Maze. Ing. What a rare gift

  • wow, that's ace. truly great

  • funny part about it is,in the "i am the walrus" film, it is paul, not john, who is dressed up as the walrus...

  • you mean magical mystery tour?

  • yes

  • HI... um... are you really 19? It's hard to imagine a 19 year old producing this. Or did you just uploaded this? D:

  • Y would he be 19?

  • Sorry. I posted that before I read the information box. D:

  • Yeah ! Look Long Enough ! then keep looking ! longer ! Enough already !

  • this is amazing. I saw it on "The Culture Show".

  • amazing art, that that guy is sooooo freaking lucky he was able to pull that off

  • JOHN LENNON WAS A GREAT MAN

  • 3:13 "The Bee Gee's" :D

  • i think it was awesome except for the part where the animation pointed to Canada when he said nothing

  • That was the best part foo'

  • Incredible story -

  • guys just go watch this in the screening room

  • where's that?

  • like your work. peace

  • k john lennon i soo smart he USUALLY thinks about everything he said

  • 2 greganwortman

    Impressive expression of your opinion!

  • of you hate the beatles so much...why do you know the beatle most people forget? i think someone is lying...

  • o levitan is a jew, well, that explains it

  • this was a nomination? what a bunch of bullshit -- all the unsolved problems in society and people go gaga over celebrity -- and so the world goes down the shitter!!

  • Oh yeah, and it was nominated for an Academy Award last year...How awesome is that?!

  • lol... someone else agrees that Canada really isnt existant...

  • genius! Amazing video, awsome animation!

  • At 3:15, somebody should've drawn a goofy caricature of the Bee Gees circa 1969. Like they weren't also pot-smoking hippies.

  • great short animation. the message is universal and timeless. john lennon is forever missed.

  • cool videos

  • Hey! lol I'm from Canada and I hope someone else noticed that a big NOTHING was plastered across Canada toward the end of the video.

  • yeah i noticed that.

it's funny because the boy that's interviewing him is from canada.

  • No, it's the people who made the animation who are from Canada. but they didn't interview John Lennon.

  • the guy who interviewed him is from toronto.

    he interviewed him in toronto.

if you see any other interviews with the creator he says this.

they are just making a joke.... gosh.

  • Josh Raskin did the animation and Jerry Levitan interviewed John Lennon when he was 14...they partnered together to make this masterpiece.

  • Yes, I noticed. Definitely offended as a Canadian.

  • well canadians made the film so it's not like they were trying to offend canadians..

The film is amazing and so is Josh Raskin!:)

  • I like it!

  • wasn't Paul the walrus?

  • Nope

  • "The walrus was Paul"

    (glass onion)

  • the thing is, it doesn't matter, think what you want, the more cryptic the message, the more right answers there are. but seriously i think it was pete best.

  • The line in Glass Onion in which he claims the walrus was Paul was just something John threw in to mess with people's minds because people were so obsessed with finding hidden meanings in Beatles songs. Apparently it worked.

  • i love this

  • absolutely beautiful!

  • GREAT

  • Anyone else find this video confusing? He wasn't making any sense half the time.

  • great film!!!!!!!

  • TOTALY THE BEST

  • great film! I wanted this to win Oscar

  • Amazing. I like PISS FOR PEACE! I'm gonna go make peace with the ocean, right now!

  • I believe Lennon says "kiss for peace, or smile for peace." Although "piss for peace" is definitely a more amusing interpretation. Absolutely wonderful video though, I can't watch it enough.

  • this is great,thanks!

  • that's great

  • that's so fantastic.

    so so great.

    SUCH a work of art.

  • did john lennon know this was being recorded?

  • Many great one liners he says here. Great video. Thanks for it.

  • Awesome! Thanks for posting it.

  • S-L-I-C-K

  • Do we know who this young boy was?

  • Yes, of course. His name is Jerry Levitan and he's one of the creators of this film.

  • Duhhhh thanks for taking the time to respond to a moronic question! I must have blinked when his name appeared on the first screen and did not see or read his name. Thanks again and thanks for publishing this.

  • wow nice..;]
