I'm not new at paintballing, im 14 yrs old and started on my 11th birthday, ive bought a BT4 Combat for my first gun thinking it would be crap because of the cost but it is absolutely amazing! ive had it since my 11th birthday and been to many competitions, i highly recommend it!

. The older 98 custom before the platinum and ACT models have to EXACT same internals as the Alpha Black, and the newer models work better plus there cheaper then the alpha black even if its internals while still very good are by comparision with the new 98 OUT OF DATE!!! This isn't to say the alpha black isnt good its just not very versitile.

@AirsoftRaccoon 98 custom for sure, alpha black looks cool but you cant change the configuration at all, where you can put what you want on the 98 and it will be made out of a stronger material then the components of the alpha black (the shroud and the stock), also note that the m16 rear sight does not come off so you cant use any kind of red-dot sight, better to get something basic and add to it as you see fit.

@miked1997 ive got an ego that i use for scenario games, it just flat out outperforms any other gun ive shot. Ive used it in the rain, freezing cold, snow and everything and no electronics are fried. People are afraid of bringing an ego out to play with in the rain, but then you take an e-gripped a5 out to play with, that dosent make sense. I'll use other guns too, ive got a bunch of tippmann's that i use, ill play pump even. depends on my mood, if im playing serious, ego is my gun of choice

@MrTippmannMan I enjoy both, Speedball is fun for me because of the rush of adrenaline. But i agree with you on the woodsball bit, it is fun to be tactical and stuff. But Speedball is enjoyable for the speed (Hence the name) and the fun of diving into a bunker. I enjoy speedball more because your at a way higher risk of getting hit by a paintball then you are in Woodsball.

@blueclonetrooper thats not true at all. airsoft guns are farther ranged, more realistic and ammo is cheaper BUT doesnt hurt as much where paintball has more of a rush 2 it, hurts more, less range so you cant really have paintball snipers and ammo expensive. both fun but i prefer paintball. i like both, dont disrespect the sport
