In 2001 we applied under this law that my dad finally qualified for, but received a rejection letter from INS for a miniscule requirement that didnt fit us. Why would I be called a criminal for that? For my dad simply tried to save my life the best way he knew how at the time?

If you are using a false social security number, or stole someone's identity, or paid someone for falsified or fake documents, or made false tax statements, such things are crimes. And I know plenty of similar stories. Illegal immigration has existed since the birth of this nation. Further, immigration has existed since the dawn of time. My parents brought me here with a VISA when I was 4 so that I could receive medical treatment for a rare disease I have.

He or she can never be BETTER than someone here legally, for the simple reason that they are worse as persons for being lawbreakers. Instead, they should be BETTER THAN THEY ARE, by abiding by the law. Doing one of two things: either go back to their own country, then apply for a U.S. visa. They don't have the resourse for separate room, separate teachers or perhaps even someon that does speak spanish. In 2001 we applied under this law that my dad finally qualified for, but received a rejection letter from INS for a miniscule requirement that didnt fit us. Why would I be called a criminal for that? For my dad simply tried to save my life the best way he knew how at the time?

If you are using a false social security number, or stole someone's identity, or paid someone for falsified or fake documents, or made false tax statements, such things are crimes. And I know plenty of similar stories. Illegal immigration has existed since the birth of this nation. Further, immigration has existed since the dawn of time. My parents brought me here with a VISA when I was 4 so that I could receive medical treatment for a rare disease I have.

He or she can never be BETTER than someone here legally, for the simple reason that they are worse as persons for being lawbreakers. Instead, they should be BETTER THAN THEY ARE, by abiding by the law. Doing one of two things: either go back to their own country, then apply for a U.S. visa. @streetsoldier108, near where I live an illegal alien was just sentenced for killing three black college students. A 4th barely survived after being raped by the illegal. If illegals hadn't be allowed here, those students would still be alive. So too thousands of other Americans. Also those who stole college slots prevented our blacks from becoming the professionals, etc. By the way, only our own citizens have civil rights. Mexico civil rights don't apply here. You R the arrogant A-hole, not me.

Folks from both aisles must compromise. Students should earn their residence but no free money and they can't request status for other relatives. If activists who are pro-dream act take this approach, it will much easier to pass this bill. I guarantee you that most Americans will support it.
