Jodie came out in December 2007, about 4 months before this interview so the question would be redundant.

She is a great actress and I don't think anyone was too surprised. There was no big announcement for it or magazine interview that many out celebrities seem to need. She just thanked her girlfriend in a speech she made, which is how it should be.
