@AllThreesAndFours - The Bible doesn't specifically say the whole universe was created at once. There are variations of interpretation of Genesis 1 when it talks about creation of sun, moon, stars. But from other verses it appears angels were around beforehand, and I think that it's reasonable that God has always been creating. But then we are getting beyond ourselves, since we can't understand eternity nor can we know if other universes exist, which opens up vast, other possibilities.

And that is only if we lived and died by natural selection. But since we use our complex brains to bypass nature's rules it's now highly unlikely that humans will evolve any further (or at least any significant mutation besides evolving immunity to certain diseases)

This always makes me think...If you have species of animals that naturally have electricity and light or other forms of elements found in nature, who's to say that mankind invented electricity or other forms of energy if it's already found in nature? @AllThreesAndFours - The Bible doesn't specifically say the whole universe was created at once. There are variations of interpretation of Genesis 1 when it talks about creation of sun, moon, stars. But from other verses it appears angels were around beforehand, and I think that it's reasonable that God has always been creating. But then we are getting beyond ourselves, since we can't understand eternity nor can we know if other universes exist, which opens up vast, other possibilities.
