Fail at the 4 stick backhoe

"i have to think thats the problem" haha. I started at a new company and what do you know they have a 4 stick 590L. i only have a few hours on it but i think it fun to run so far. definitely a different animal than a 2 stick

4 stick with the swing foot is easy, just as easy as joystick

Is this machine from the 1980? Or is it newer, if so why is it 4 stick? I'm from scandinavia and have never seen a 4 stick in my life, thought it was rather interesting. Going to be lerning how to drive backhoe loader in the beginning of Januari next year. Sorry for grammer errors or crappy spelling, English is a second language for me.

Idle it down, & it will be smother till you learn the controlls...wont have as much digging power, and swing will be slower, but to learn forget about idleing it up.

4 stick is a trick to learn im only 17 and can run 4 stick almost as good as a guy i know who been on them 4 ever learning them takes time

@letsdig18 Any particular motor grader? Maybe and old 562-b Champion with AC and a kick ass radio? Oh and double the HP than any other 562 in existance? OR no not that one?

@copperheadmarine your right the radio kicked my ass, I couldn't even figure out how to cut the damn thing on! LOL and I don't like having to get out to shift the stuck gear shifter haha

@letsdig18 now go drive a all stick skidder. they are fun to learn how to steer with just a stick. oh and don't for get you must pin it wide open your first time and drive down a narrow trail with no brakes haha that was a interesting day for me haha

I learned on a Ford 4500 4 stick, don't care for the Case 3 stick, 2 sticks are great and hopefully you have the switch to convert from ISO to SAE in the "furrun" made stuff.Try running an old Bucyrus cable Dragline that combines different levers for winches and footpedals for braking or slowing a line, make it all look smooth and don't snarl a winch. Good days work or I should say workout!!

lol i learned on a 3stick foot swing case 580c that i own that was a fun experience but after a couple hrs i was getting good on it not a 2 stick i have a hard time on

From what it sounds like that machine is a royal pain in the ass to run!! Unless you well used to it?

Seems kinda like the set-up on Mercedes-Benz Unimog's fitted backhoes. Five sticks and foot swings.

LoL, Chris you still are doing a pretty good job. On my 580SE there are 4 stick the 4th is for the ext-hoe. and the foot swings too. If you want to get more confused jump on a older Ford backhoe with just the 4 sticks

chris thats the (pro control system) you were running. i think case gave it the right name. a trick to running the pro controls is run every control at the same time
