very good cam great quality for the money.. only thing i hate is that u have to plug it into computer to hear sound on vids plus cant be used as a webcam but other than that.. Took some very high quality almost professional looking pics with this thing. and video quality is good isnt quite HD but close. all this from a $59 cam lol

@Princ3Trill Ive been trying ti find someone who is aware of the operation for this camera... how do you get the sound to increase when recording with the C183 in video mode? I'm playing back the video and the pc volume is at max but the sound from the video is very low

This is actually my digi camera now. Although it's not as expensive as the other beautiful cameras with SLRs but i love its easysharing ability! ;p I'm using my 2 cellphone sometimes to take photos so not all the pictures i posted are from my Kodak Easyshare C183.

My sister just got this camera, when we play the video on the camera we dont hear sound. my question is if i upload the video on my computer will i be able to hear the video i just took?

I have a Kodak easyshare c183, and I'm wondering if this camera would be good to use at concerts; has anyone tried it? I can't really "test" it myself yet because I haven't had the chance to record something very loud like a concert, as I just got this camera. I'm just wondering what the sound quality is, if anyone knows?

i have this camera and all i can say is that it's really value for your money. it has a large screen and clear pictures. really offers more than you pay for. so if anyone here is thinking whether to get this cam or not, i recommend you buy this product! :)

p.s.

clear pictures, diff shooting modes, very good video capture. not HD, but almost! :)

@RandomStudios91 You have to have a memory card to take longer videos. My dad said he is going to get me one so that i can take more then just a few pictures at a time and just a few second of video. He said they cost like $10 for 2GB.

i got mine yesterday as well for the $59 deal, i love it. nice upgrade from my concord 4mp. as dbatch said you have to upload your video to hear it. with a measly 512mb sd able to have 180+ pic's in 14mp resolution. not bad at all !! modify the setting to 10mp, get 240+ pic's. mine does the clicking sound too, like the auto-focus at work, i think this is normal function.
