Hes my favorite character because he has killed something like 40 jedi. Trained by count dooku my 2nd favorite. The best grievous was the samurai jack style one where you actually see him kill. You can just picture him on a battlefield slaying hundreds of clones and a few jedi, while laughing (and coughing) maniacally.

Grievous is the Man! :D I love this cyborg, his so cool! :) Anyway I belive, that in the mini Clone Wars series Grievous was to powerfull to any Jedi (well, except for Yoda-Windu-Obi-Anakin etc.), but in the Revenge of the Sith, he looked so weak.:( But I belive that hes true identity and power level had been "found" in this Clone Wars show. ^ ^ Go Grievous, Go! :D

If any one has ever noticed that this show is supposed to take place in bettwen the 2nd and the 3rd movie and that they made an animated star wars like 3 or 4 years ago and the last episode of that animated seres general grivoeus beakes into the tempel and captres the chancler and when he is leaving mace window crushes his chest and thats y he caughs now this animated series happened before that series and he caughs so makes no sence

@nickhell100 The reason for that is the original animated Clone Wars was made when Grievous' character was not fully developed... Mace Windu's crushing of his chest was basically a last second throw in to explain the sudden cough in the movie.

Grievous had a face and a body once but i think it was Mace-window "sorry i dunno how the heck his name is spelled xD" in accident used the force to hold some iron baricades stuff up but then it fell down right onto him and his body was crushed, his crushed body was found by the sith lord i think it was and then his remains "brain lungs hearth" etc got implanted into the cyborg body.

@venom5000 Actually, as Dooku himself said in the original Clone Wars series, Grievous needed to have fear, surprise and intimidation on his side, for if any one element is lacking, he would be better off retreating. He must BREAK his enemies before engaging them to ensure victory. The fact that the situations involved in war battles vary constantly made it sometimes difficult, even impossible, for Grievous to have these elements on his side. Thus, he did not always win and had to flee at times.

@venom5000 So many people think that Grievous was suddenly turned into a pussy in newer installations just because he didn't fight as he did at the Battle of Hypori and Coruscant. Other battles we've seen him in, he didn't have the edge only when he didn't have the three vital elements Dooku himself stated, he wasn't made weak by Lucas. The outcome, involving Jedi and other enemies, depends on the circumstances of war and what the General is able to accomplish at that particular moment in time.

For some reason in this series I don't like Grievous that much. In the original Clone Wars cartoon he was actually scary. Ever since then he seems to have been getting more and more tame in the media and it seems like this version is just more angry than anything rather than being a cunning, stealthy, killing machine.
