Props.... this is how it's done. It is a shame that young people are spoon fed mediocre music sang by automatons created by an industry that doesn't really care about how music can make a person feel or where it can take you. It seems a person can't take to the stage with any sort of realness anymore and whilst, there are a lot of bands out there who are pretty damned good an on a par with this one on the London scene, they don't get the same sort of promotion.
Nah mate... the geezer who put the post up, but it was meant to be a bit jokey; I had to trim down the text to less than 500 characters to get the point across which meat having to delete the ;-) symbol just to get the message to send.
Did you get the rest of the tube appearance? would be great to see it all again.
You didn't happen to get the rest of that appearance did you? From memory the next song in the set was man of great promise then strength of your nature, or maybe in a different order.
Totally agree with your comments about the tool wearin the cycling top... there's a similar knob head stood behind weller when he performs talk tonite with noel gallagher on the white room, it's the bloke wearin the sunglasses and dancin like an utter prick... hope it werent you dude.
I watched this on tv when it was first on and even then I was instantly struck by the bloke in the Yellow, red & black cycling shirt! What a pratt. His ill timed spasmodic jerk of the right arm beared no relation to the song and he stares moroncially into the camera hoping for some recogintion instead of hiding his face in shame for that move.He was probably a local Maggot who qickly abondoned any allegiance to Weller and immersed himself in to the Acid house scene.A refuge for even bigger fools!
One of the greatest songs Weller put his name too and probably one of the all time classics. Very probably.

Nope. 1986 is the year it evokes for me. Nothing to do with its date of release.

Greg, are you asking if it is me or the bloke who posted this as to who was the plum in the cycling shirt?
