How was it cheap? That was a beautiful hit. You shouldn't fault Umberger or Campbell but the guy who gave RJ that ridiculous buddy pass. Just goes to show you, you have probably never played the game before and have no idea what's it's like to be on either side of that. I was on the receiving end of a hit like that a few times, its no ones fault but your own and your teammate for putting you in that position.

We were 18 minutes away from playing for, and probably winning the stanley cup that year. Thanks to Ottawa and Carolina injuring our players as a tactic, we got robbed. If you look at the video closely you notice that its mostly shoulder on shoulder and that most of the momentum was umberger not watching where he was going cambell wasnt even in stride he just stood his ground. Their was a similar situation where hatcher was actualy charging for a hit on steen and steen had enough awareness to duck and hatcher ended up destroying lupol.
