Shirai is a much better fighter than he showed here which is why he is riding a 5 fight win streak against pretty competition (not the best). He's being used as a sacrificial lamb against Daley, but it's a fight that he really has nothing to lose in. If he should beat daley, that would shoot him up in the rankings and be devastating to Daley's career.
