The Galata Tower sits 35 m above sea-level, the peak of its conical dome 62.59 m above ground level.
This was the neighborhood I grew up..Galata tower is such a magical place to be. Where we can see Istanbul as bird's eye view. Thank you so much for this wonderful video and also showing us important places in the city.

all i know about this tower was built by italians from genoa... turks called it
"cenviz kulesi" i have no idea why this set idle for a very long time.... i believe one
time was used like a storage..... but when what.....zip!
benim bildigim bu kule genoa italyanlari tarafindaqjn insa edilmis fakat nedense oyle brakilmis. ve kullanilmamis....ama nedense hic kullanilmiyordu.
