That Waterboggin isn't there anymore. THey tore that down years ago and now there's something else there. An RV lot or something like that.

yeah it has been gone for many years. I think they even tore the hill that it was on down. For several years in the 80's, the Marriott hotel chain owned that whole property, and the Water Boggin was part of an entire water/recreation complex that included a convention center in the building where the RV store is now, a wave pool and water jump ride, frequent water shows on the lake, and more. I remember they even had hot air balloon races around the lake. Good times.

yeah. they used to do an open caption replay on KET at 11PM of a 6PM newscast from either Lexington or Louisville for folks across the state that didn't have closed caption receivers. back then you had to have a separate converter box to decode the signal if it was even available. As I remember they would switch stations each week.
