I saw this concert on german television back in '93 and fell in love with the Pumpkis almost instantly! It is a great concert as a whole and the band sounds fking tight! Too bad they never broadcasted the whole concert...
I didn't know Billy was left handed until I saw him writing some lyrics during MCIS on video. Plus, he signed my MCIS vinyl back in 2000. I actually only know a couple of people that are left handed that actually played guitar left handed. The rest usually play right handed.
Billy Corgan is left handed. He signed an autograph on my vinyl with his left hand. If you see any video of him he writes with his left hand. If you look at the video here he is throwing the cups with his left hand. Why would a right hander do that?
I would say that most left handed people play right handed guitars because the are the most fimiliar and affordable. Billy Corgan is left handed for sure.
I love how they kick into it with that feedback whistle (after Billy's been dodging various cups & bottles). His voice is shot and this version still kicks some serious ass.
Oh by the Smashing Pumpkins fans Billy Corgan just said on you tube that he has a new live smashing pumpkins dvd coming out in nov 0f 2008 and another smashing pumpkins album comes out in 2009
