These scriptures are in complete harmony with modern medical guidelines. But during those many millennia, how many mothers needlessly perished? How many children suffered because man's quest for knowledge had failed to incorporate the word of the Lord in that quest?"
I come here wanting to hear the Mormon side of this argument and I get a tour of Idaho then told not to even move there? I've been robbed of 10 minutes of my life.
Sadly enough I have to agree with you. That's why I tried doing something with it like learning about other people's beliefs. Now that I know how valuable time is I take it a little bit more seriously. So yeah I'm mad about my 10 minutes. Either way thank you for tour of Idaho.
You still miss the entire point. The *experience* of being alive is NEVER wasted, no matter what you have done, no matter what you do. USE your eyes and ENJOY the beauty of my videos along with what I say. NOTHING I have *EVER* done is wasted, not for me, nor for any of my viewers. We are ALIVE. Get it?
I actually agree with you. Everything comes back to serve a purpose one way or another. And I really did enjoy the scenery up there it's beautiful. I was just a sad because I was looking forward to hearing about what your title implied. I was meeting with some missionaries and I have my thoughts on Mormonism but I was looking to hear your side of the story before I came to any conclusions. Either way again I'm sorry about my prior comment I was in a bad mood at the time. See my post on pt 4
You are still simply wrong. Joseph Smith said in the Times and Seasons that Book of Mormon cities were in Guatemala. But not having read anything Mormon, of course, I understand why you really didn't know that. No surprise for me.
Notice the part 1.....it is a series of videos because I am not allowed more than 10 minutes per video. This is a 10-12 part series. So in the introduction, I probably did not spend much time on DNA. Gee, does ANY book 's introdfuction give you the meat, analysis, and contextualization of the rest of the 600 pages?
So where are these "relics"? If we can find museums-full worth of artifacts from people who had nothing more than stone, bone, and wood to work with, how is it that the supposedly "advanced lost tribes of Israel" that the con-man Smith claims existed, have left NOTHING?
I'll make ya a deal bud....... your shotgun blast was truly useless and missed the mark(s). Sorry! Lets do this ONE idea at a time, and THOROUGHLY and ***FAIRLY*** explore just what the Bible DOES teach against the LDS ideas shall we? I will let you pick ONE topic, and lets explore it. I shall even produce some vids just for you, cause I see some spunk, and I like that! Pick yer topic, and I shall explain why it ISN'T refuting LDS doctrine.
I read all of the scriptures, and the KJV is not anywhere near as good as the Hebrew and Greek of the Bible. English translations don't do the scriptures justice as to what they mean.
i love your videos... please please don't spend more than ten seconds on sunsets and pointless talk. YOU WILL LOSE VIEWERS IF YOU DON'T JUST SHOW THE FACTS.... no one comes to these videos with tons of patients... tell them what they came to hear... DNA... thanks professor
"It is physically impossible for DNA to prove the BoM false."
Uh, why? Mr. Smith, Mr. Young, and others said that native americans were lamanites. The mormon god also thought so in the D&C. Yet we test the ancestry of native americans and it's asiatic. And haplogroup x dates back around 30,000 years, well outside the timeframe of the BoM and well outside the timeframe of the earth's temporal existence, according to the mormon god.
Read the book I was reading from, or else watch the series of vids on DNA & the Book of Mormon I produced, as I explain their scientific rationale....... it's all rather interesting I assure you. DON'T take my word for it, get the book and learn for yourself. Its a small book, a little over a hundred pages, easy to knock off in an evening.
I don't remember you mentioning a book in the video. Just some complaints about critics and then you go on about how beautiful idaho is, as if it compares to alaska, :)
no! don't throw rational out the window! no one teaches that.. its just that the Holy Ghost transcends all of our various prideful perspectives... God teaches us this in the bible, 1 cor 2:9-16, gal, 1:12 (this verse also shows how god teaches his people not by throwing them text (bible) but by leaders who have revelation. thats how God communicates truth. eph 3:5, 4:12-14... men corrupt purity with their man made proofs.. one by one year after year these truths come clear though..
@fubecabr yeah, when the Mormons teach Biochemistry, Molecular biology, and genetics at BYU they do NOT use books or study ANYTHING. The tests and homework is simply done by using ones emotions?? YOU are an IDIOT and a DECEIVER. Congrats.

the problem I have with that is that even though those quotes are attached to JS, there is no way of proving that he actually said that. How many times and in how many ways has the BoM been discredited? How much more obvious does it need to get?
