  • Well sat :)

  • Black Beauty moment!!

  • Exact same thing happened to me. My friends thought I should of been in a movie because of it haha. They said it was beautiful

  • good girl she stayed on good for her

  • why is it called oops? the vid has nothing to do with oops

  • My horse rears like this on occasion.

  • Great job for staying on! He/She looks like he/she is fist pumping[:

  • youtube.com/watch?v=VBhYXe-nUuw CROSS COUNTRY IS WRONG AND SHOULD BE BANNED

  • @xSnowMare That is stupid, I'm sorry. I love dressage and could never ever jump and probably never will, but those horses love it just as much as their riders if not more. There is the silver Olympic Medalist horse McKinlaigh at my barn, he saw a jump and he got all frilly and fussy with excitement and completely perked up, where normally he's so lazy you're lucky if you get a nice walk from him. He jumped our SIX FOOT gate in a tiny paddock,

  • Continue-- if he'd have spooked out all the horses would have been dinged up, all the horses were completely fine and settled even with him out, when normally they all scream and tattle. So NO that is stupid.

  • @xSnowMare theres nothing wrong with XC lol

  • @xSnowMare No actually its not wrong.... its like show jumping but with un even grounds and diffrent shapes for jumps.... and i think it looks a lot of fun but hey thats your opinion....

  • @xSnowMare

Okay obviously you don't know anything about horses. There is absolutely nothing wrong with jumping, hunting, cross country, dressage, driving, whatever. Get educated. Seriously.

  • @xSnowMare Hun, I am sorry but you know nothing about horses if you think cross country is bad. My guess is you are the kind of person who thinks even putting a bit in a horses mouth is abuse, or keeping them in pins, letting them be out in the rain, kicking them when we ride. I putty you if you are, grow up and actually start reading about horses not just watch an ill informed video.

  • congratulations, you stay on horse :D ^.^!!

  • In december i fell of my pony murphy and i broke my wrist cos i was bareback and he bucked :/ ... and tht really hurtt :( i screamed but no-one believed me well they did but i kinda dramatise at little things but this actually really hurt ... so i went to the hospital... :( BTW yor a realli good rider i would of come off! haha x

  • ive fallen off like....2 manytimes to count XD

  • ove fallen off like....2 manytimes to count XD

  • I remember when I was riding for like my first three years I was like "I feel off twice" "I feel off 10 times" etc... after seventeen times - I totally lost count! XD

  • Good to see someone else who just sits quietly when their horse rears :)

  • @sunchaser89 Yeah it is, isn't it? And that's what you're supposed to do. I have a horse that rears sometimes when he has a lot of energy and just wants to explode into gallop. And if you start fighting with the horse when it rears, both the rider and the horse can get hurt. Better to correct the horse when it has all hooves on the ground again. :)

  • uii xD

  • aww well sat

do you know whyhe did that?

  • wat happend?

  • its always good to fall of sometimes =)

  • ...wow...

  • iv'e been there, it's scary shit! before and during breaking my mare in this happened daily, but were fine now, it just takes perseverence.

oh and i've always been told, your not a proper rider until you've broken something, it's the difficult times that can either make or brake a rider.

  • @takethemakeupoff i fell off my horse and broke my arm that hurt well actually i kinda jumped lol he was about to scrap me off a tree and i just healed my leg so i jumped but the thing is i didnt even hit my arm lol weird

  • @horselover3860 haha strange, my old pony went down when i was jumping him, which ended up with me flying 3 meters through the air and breaking my coller bone and nearly having to have a pin put in it was that bad :/

  • That was cool :D was it on purpose or is it a bad habit or was the horse being bad? Whichever one it is good job staying on :)

  • You rode this very well!

  • what do u mean by going wrong?

  • well sat! that was very good!

  • I'll have a run of bad luck when I'm getting dumped regularly until I learn how to not get dumped with that particular "move".... horses aren't really that creative LOL...if they find a way to get you off their backs they'll revisit it until it doesn't work anymore....

  • i havent fallen off for a few years :)

  • I don't think you "need" to fall off to be a good rider! I mean, yes, it brings you back to earth and shows that you are riding more difficult horses, but I've been riding and training all my life and I've only fallen off 5 times. Some people are just good at clinging! hahaha.

  • @Amplifytwo yeah i agree but if you've never fallen that how wold you know what to do if you do fall and stuff

  • lame

  • thAt looks like fun lol

  • I can't even remember how many times I've fallen off!

  • Oops

  • I hate how people say that you have to fall eight times to be a real rider. I'd change that to one real fall and one near fall.

  • good job handling it ! for once , someone actually releases when they rear so the horse doesnt fall back on top of them !

  • i think so, lol, i don't think forelegs waving in the air is required in a dressage test! LOL.

  • Nice handling though!!!

  • It looked to me like you cued him to rear, lol. ;) My friend has a pony who will do that.

  • @Sootbind so o i (:

  • @Bellesweetie Lol I'd like to teach my pony to rear on cue but I think he'd end up just learning how to rear, lol. :) And then I'd fall off. xD

  • @Sootbind hah yea you gotta teach the right horse. my horse does but he doesnt use it in a bad way. (:

  • nice :) a beautiful horse might I say

  • Haha it looks like its from an animation :)

  • @claoufaeng You have people who are good at "holding on" and then you have paople who are smart enough to let go and take their chances with gravity. If you hold on to a horse that is rearing you risk the chance of the horse flipping and landing on top of you. That is far worse than you just simply hitting the ground and getting banged up.

  • falling off is part of horse riding if you have never fell off your going to be in for a shock when you do have your first i think that falling off means your a adventrus rider and even the best fall . . pippa funnel . .ellen W . . .John W and more ! x x

  • if you dont fall of at least 27 times a year then u are no good !!!

  • dobře se udržel

  • you sat that very well :)

  • this is stupid, why did you post this.

  • this may be completely unrelated but your horse is b e a u t i f u l.

  • wow gut gehalten!

  • my horse did that once!

    btw, good staying on :)

  • Oh Heyy! is that my horse?

Lol jk jk...but horse is a naughty girl and rears and bolts a lot xP

But im not saying your horse is..haha nice video! glad you didn't falL! :))

  • ooo dressage turned rodeo. you still looked fancy! haha

  • gorgeous horse. he looks great in english tack, lol

  • at least it was pretty =) lol

  • beautiful!

  • Lol im at 13 ;)

  • well...at least you did a really good job of staying on :)

  • Good sitting ;)

  • I love the way you're sitting there like 'here we go again...' lol.

  • darn that sucks and it looks like its a dressage competition.

  • vamos todavia que no se calló :)

  • q video tan mas tonto pont a HACER ALGO DE PROVECHO

  • lol im at like 43 now, just in the last 2 or 3 years. haha iv been riding for about 9-10, and the horse iv been riding for the last 2 has been QUITE the spit fire. lol

but i havnt been thrown in months :) she and i are both gettin much much better :D

  • i heard it was 7 times and ur a good rider :/ im at 7 lol :P x

  • lol i dn how much it is...but wateva it is im well above it lol

  • isnt it only 10 falls and ur a good rider??? lol im only at 11, soo i hope it isnt 100!!!

  • its 100 my instrustor sayd iv done 13 oh noo

  • nope it's 100

and you have to ride 100 different horse to call yourself a horse person

  • haha, the airs obove the ground. to bad :)

  • I'm only at six . Dammit i thought it was seven D:

    Great sitiing :)

  • nice sitting to that =]

  • naughty horse ;)

  • Gosh if 12 falls makes a good rider then I am AMAZING. I think I've fallen about 50 times in the 8 years I've been riding. I should try out for the next Olympics...

  • my nstructors say its 100 iv still got 89 to go nooooooooooooooo i hopoe they r soft landings

  • I was told it was 7 times ;/

Darn it, i was working towards thoose 7, im on my 5th fall in 8years. If its 12 falls then i expect i'll have to ride for 7years to acomplish that.

  • If you fall once you wont make the same mistake again(hopefully):)

  • @Oliwka121 Well I fail at life then xD

  • They told me you're not an accomplished rider until' you've fallen off 12 times when I had a bad fall whilst galloping along a beach. My first fall was when I horse reared like that, and I just slid STRAIGHT off, so kudos, for staying on (:

  • crap, im only at 11

  • Dunne worry. Im only at three :D

    xx

  • @LilEmmyOx I'm not saying people who fall off are bad riders, but wouldn't it make more sense if you never got the horse wound up enough to throw you as being a good rider? My mum had a REALLY difficult horse and though he tried he never threw her. Broke a few toes though. Just a thought. I don't ride so I'm no expert.

  • @LilEmmyOx I've been told you're not a real rider until you've fallen off 100 times :P

  • @LilEmmyOx 12? I thought it was 7? I have never been on a rearing horse lol, but I'm sure I would do what you did if it happened XD

  • But I really hate it when someone is sooooo cocky and says, "Oh I bet if I rode the horse you fell off of, it would like me way better, and I, unlike you, would stay on." I hate it when people are like that!

  • I've only fallen off once...

  • haha i used to b like butter on a saddle in 6 years i felly off 76 times haha how sad i counted but i never seem to come off anymore lol touch wood

not the greatest way to stat a dressage test :P x

  • I got told when I was a kid that your not a true rider until you've come off at least 12 times!!!

  • That is a cool slow motion!

  • that looked fun

  • Comment removed

  • You shouldn't do emergency dismounts because that's how you get hurt.

  • Unless your horse is going all the way over ... then again gravity usually takes care of that "emergency" dismount for you

  • very well sat!!

  • whether you've fallen off or not doesn't change the fact you ride. i was told that you're not a good rider if you haven't fallen off, but does that mean that the bad riders who fall off all the time are good riders? i think not.

  • No, but it means that if you've never fallen off you're lacking experience.

It's not possible to be at your full potential if you've never ridden a difficult horse. You just can't advance that way. And people ride difficult horses, they sometimes fall. It happens.

  • i've fallen off once & it's because i was riding bareback & my horse shook when i wasn't paying attention, lol. but i've never got bucked off or anything & my horse was horrible at shows for about 3 years & i never got bucked off. i don't try to fall off, but i do understand that if it happens; it happens [:

  • True, because if you don't fall off you start to get stiff because you are worried about falling off. If you get stiff you can break something. So it is good to fall off every once in awhile just so you remember it is not that bad(sometimes) and you are able to be relaxed.

  • Now this isnt true for everyong, but I think people who have never fallen off are a little more cocky. They just think that they are too good of riders to fall off. I think falling off brings you literally and figuratively back down to earth. And again, not everyone is like this.

  • yer when i got my horse i rode it for about 6 mounths and never fall off despite her bucking then i started getting worride because i knew i was bound to fall off soon the one day she bucked me off in a spinning circel motion and a smaked straght into the fence (i got straight bk on ) and it made me feel more relaxed when i got bacck on odd but true

  • I agree, some people think they are good riders because they've never fallen off yet. i'm the opposite. i have yet to fall off (a horse did buck while i was on it, i somehow managed to stay on:S) yet i know i'm not the greatest rider around. :D i'm beginner, and i'm not ashamed of it!

  • @phantomjumper , it certainly isnt true for me, i have not fallen off in 13 years of riding...i have had some serious near misses, and some incidents where i think i would have prefered to fall off, than carry on, but i think its had the opposite effect on my confidence, as im now quite literally terrified of falling off, and have built it up to be a huuuuuuge thing, when really, it prob wont be, so im far far far from cocky, if anything, prob a bit "too" carefull,

  • @wiggilywoo yeah I understand. Thats why I said not everyone is like that. I have been riding 8 years, both english and western, and have only fallen off 3 times. Well, only 3 times that werent my fault haha. A few more of me just being dumb or knowing whatever I was doing was stupid and would not turn out well (hopping on bareback with no bridle, halter or anything and making him lope.. lol)

  • @phantomjumper

All the best riders fall at least a couple times :P

  • @phantomjumper Exactly. You might be lucky enough to never fall but learning to do so PROPERLY is a good way to go about it. Riding difficult horses makes you a better rider - if you can cope on them you can handle an 'easy' horse no bother.

  • @phantomjumper Everyone has to fall off some time becuase as i say your never a jocky until you fall off !

  • @piquitokatie i agree how can u be a good rider if u always ride push button horses, riding difficult horses can make u all the better

  • @piquitokatie i have been riding for 5 years and i have only fallen off once..and i have ridden difficult horses where i have almost fallen off but i have only been like on the ground once.

  • @Nikki5309 In my 20 years of riding horses I've only been unseated a handful of times. But when a horse has fallen over a fence, or a problem horse has put up a fight, I have broken my cheekbone, hand, jaw, collar bone, neck (twice), ribs, hip, lower spine, ruptured spinal discs and dislocated both shoulders, and oh yes, the concussions and spinal surgery that follows! The pride you have comes before a fall...remember that.

  • @kaeso100 wow. yeah i have been riding 5 years olny but i have only fallen off once..and got a brushburn from the dirt i landed on.

  • @piquitokatie you're right i've been riding difficult pony's from like the beginning, i started with a shetland that was rearing all the time, i rode him with just a halter and a rope, then an arabian, superfast haha! Now i have Santos and he really is difficult to ride, but i don't like the slow pony's XD it would be nice if Santos would be a little less hyperactive, but he's a special horse and i love him the way he is! ♥ still searching for my perfect horse though btw i've fallen off a lot XD

  • Infact, faling off makes you BETTER!!! I fell off, and now I know what I did wrong...actually, nothing wrong. But, how to stay on. I was galloping, and a dog leapt out of the bushes at my horse. I fell off, rolling under him, and he trampled me. These things happen.

  • it's spirit! :D

  • lol! it was so graceful, it probably went rite along with your test! ;D

  • The rider did a great job of riding that!

  • Why does everyone have to reply to people being ass holes lol. I have to say when the horse reared it looks rather pretty :] =P Rearing should totally be a dressage movement. I was reading the horse magazine and it said dressage was considering it =O

  • Quite alright ! xx

  • Leave mikyroxsox alone ! Just because she says she dosent fall off means she dosent fall off ! i dont fall off eather ! i have a seat which sticks to the saddle and dosent come off ! just quite being sad basturds and being big headed ok . she said she dosent fall of and she means it so go to fuck if you dont like it ! very well sat , i think the pony is just taken the miky ! x

  • thank you

  • im not having a go at u r mikyroxsox but what ppl are saying is that she is havin a go at ppl for falling off an it sounds like shes saying that if u fall off u cant ride.

if u dont fall off then whats gonna happen when one day a horse gets the better of you? or u loose balance?

falling off dont mean ur a bad rider, it just means u lost ur balance or made a mistake, weather or not the horse has done something.

  • thats not what im saying im only saying that i ride my horses a diffrent way to people and ive never fallen off...

  • yes i understand that lol i wasn having a go at you, im just saying thats why ppl were having a go at u coz thats what it sounds like your saying

  • You couldnt have riden very long if youve never fallen off!! Even the best riders fall off sometimes.

  • ive been bucked off before lol one of the falls wasnt pretty.. the horse stepped on my arm and nearly broke it! but I was only a beginner and it was my fault the horse bucked.

  • Oh wow mikyroxsox so you "learnt" how to not fall off. Hmm must be riding some pretty damn easy horses then. If you can talk big about how good of a rider you are then maybe you should post some videos of yourself. Of course you won't cause you probably suck! But oh well not my problem. You can't learn how to not fall off, so yeah, you're an idiot.

    No offense of course...

  • FYI i broke in my own horse by myself cause we couldnt afford one that already is ok so ur the idiot

  • Yeah you say that you did all this crap on horses yet you have absolutely no proof to back it up. So go ahead talk yourself up, no one believes you anyway. You can talk the talk, but have no proof that you can even ride!

  • You should have said, "Oh sorry I thought there was a levade in this test. No? Well its obviously is far beneath my standards."

  • mikyrosox- if you ride you shouldn't make a comment like that...all riders have thore good and bad days

i've had a horse do that to me before and i've been riding 9 years!

  • ive been riding all my life thats like what 15 yrs

  • okay.... I was just saying.

i'm sure she's not the only one that lost control. I wasn't trying to be mean to you...

  • oh no thats fine i was just saying to

  • Way to stick to the saddle.

  • awesome job staying with the horse!

  • woww xD

  • your horse is stunning.. did you mean for him/her to rear??

  • haha you should have TOTALLY gotten a 10 for THAT movement! your seat was perfect and you didnt pull on the horse!! couldnt have been done better! pretty horse and awesome trick riding ;)

  • LOL....channeling Isabel Werth at Beijing, were we?

Awesome job staying on...have no advice here, other than (duh) keep the forward energy...

I can relate...my horse can do Medium at home but is such an ass at shows that we can't pull off more than 3rd level without having a meltdown in the show ring.

  • when ur horse does that again u gotta pul the reins to one side and that way when he gets sick of u doing that.....it worked on all of my horses

  • i tink she doing that on purpose....

  • no person makes there horse rear ok i know

  • yes they do. People make their horses rear all the time, in specific showing they do 'ok i know'

  • yeh but not at shows they dont it shows that you cant control your horse

  • Yes this particually time she probably didn't mean to do it. But people do all the time, and it doesn't show you can't control you're horse. Horses do it when they want, you find out whether you have control if they can stay on and ride through it or not.

  • well my horse wouldnt stop rearing and everytime he did it i would kick him and soon after he learnt that if he rears he gets hurt so yes you can control your horse no matter what

  • Thats not true what the hell!

Not EVERY person can control there horse, if someone doesn't have confidence or isn't strong willed enough.

  • then that person shouldnt have that horse then if they cant control it!

  • OMG. just shut up already. So manny people have got annoyed at you for the crap that you have been writing.

  • make me

  • What an immature comment to make over the internet.

Hmm. Stop bothering me now, i'm sick of you :)

  • Oh thats nice.

  • ok so r u blaming the horse? and what do u ride? i hope its not dressage cuz u said "kicked" and "control" which isnt dressage at all

  • im blaming both and i do a bit of everything E.G endurance, show jumping, cross country, and hacking....and in dressage you have to be able to show that you can control your horse

  • ok u never blame the horse. the riders even blaming in on herself which mean that shes a responsible rider. and ur wrong about dressage. it looks like a controlling sport, but its really not. and btw, control is such a bad word when ur doing anything with horses. basically u think ur so smart but obviously there are all these people here telling u wrong soooo that should tell u something.

  • hey i can use what eva fucking word i want u smart ase and how would you know how good i am at riding?

  • ooo! u said 'fuck!' look i can say it too! and i never said if u were good or not did i?

  • ok you idiot who cares if i said fuck and who cares if you did to. so get over your self

  • yeah cuz im obsessed with myself. do u think ur hard just cuz u call me stuff and its supposed to hurt me?

  • nope just go away to some place and stay there and never come back

  • too bad u cant control that

  • LMAO LEARN HOW TO SPELL!! Then maybe people will take you seriously.

  • i can spell i just choose not to ok so mind ur own business...and wanna make me spell

  • hahaha

Make me mind my own business. Its the internet, not real life.

    "wanna make me spell"

    what the hell?

  • see u dont get it so mind ur own business

  • She probably doesn't understand it because she doesn't speak idiot.

  • that's kinda what i said
