just put some vicks on your feet and put socks before you sleep. its said that the foot has different pressure points that reacto to different parts of the body. just so happens that it also affects the throat.

If u would like to do it the cheap way, then take an onion and put it in a zip lock bag, close bag and smash the onion up really well til all of the oils are released out of it. Rub it on the bottom of feet and slip on socks and sleep over night for severe cough but almost immediatly it works
