@fongreject that is very true but that's not the kid's fault. That is our fault as parents because we fail to speak to them in Hmong. I think so many parents want their kids to grow up knowing English so they don't speak to their kid in Hmong but me, on the other hand, I know my kid is going to learn English in school so I'm not worried about it...therefore, I only speak to him in Hmong. I'm only afraid that once he goes to school, he'll forget his native language.
