I spent $2460 all together for my SB8, so yes I agree they're not cheap.
I also waited 14 months to get mine from the time I ordered it. Sticks are like snowflakes - no two are exactly alike and each on is lovingly handcrafted by Emmett Chapman himself (hence why it takes so long to get one).

still saving up for a stick ,ill probably auction my neck through warwick thumb bass with les claypools signiture on it. ,sticks are sooo expensive
