  • I think she sounds surprisingly tame. I have a '68 convertible with dual exhaust and 3' long glass packs. She cackles when you stomp her, just beautiful cars.

  • Sounds great. I have one! The '68s are becoming increasingly popular. Just finished 4 weeks on Cape Cod and had many fantastic sunset evenings driving with the top down. The vacuum system can be a pain but the manuals were obtained and you can find easily with a vacuum gauge faults in the system. Also, the '68 was notorious for exhaust leaks at the manifold which you hear on startup but once the engine heats-up the leaks seal themselves. Please post more when you finish her.

  • hey thanks guys.. its louder in person. I was actually trying to keep it a little more tame sounding. But thats tough to do with a 472, when you step on it she roars down the freeway. I swear you can stomp on it and she will pull hard at any speed.

  • nice car man my dad has a 70 caddy too and when he steps on it the 4 barrel kicks in and you can just hear the gas being sucked down haha

  • sounds good

  • I can't wait to see the finished product...
