The wing marking were not applied backwards, what happened was that he installed the wings on the wrong sides the left wing should go to the right and the right wing should be in the left and da-ra you'll get the right look.

I remember my first kenner xwing and the mistake i made putting the battle damage stickers on....Ah memories.

Prefer my saga toys to the old kenner stuff, nostalgia is all very well but the old stuff sucked in comparison to whats been coming out recently. Really is amazing what a better paint job can do the ones that are more or less rebranded jobs.

Toys are meant to be touched, played with, picked up and admired, not kept in packaging!

I think the markings on the wings are applied backwards, the bars should be facing the trailing edge. Nice model though.

Good video of a great toy. The only fault with the toy is that it's all too easy to assemble it with the wings on backwards...which erm...you have done! The little red bars on the wing emblem go towards the back. Otherwise good job!

No, they are definitely getting outdated. With their technologies you would think they would have Inter Galaxial Ballistic Missles (SW version of ICBM), nukes, stealth technology, cyborgs, and human microchips and mech implants (AKA Ghosts in a Shell).

SW needs a new makeover so that its techs are keeping up with the current sci-fi genre.

Star Wars is a universe of its own and not based in a real time setting or time view . (I think that is very much the case with Star Trek somehow that got its typical view of the '50 and '60 on it or other modern SF-movies). And somehow everything fits and is believeable. I mean the X-wing and Tie-Fighter, Stormtrooper designs never get bored. I think the used and abused look on the vehicles does play a great role in it too. The Alien Movie is also a great timeless movie.

JK bud, Great review! BTW, the back of the seat folds forward to reveal a storage compartment for accessories. It was originally meant for the earlier release that came with the survival gear, but if you get the Saga 06 Hoth R2-D2, it comes with said accessories.
