xAdrammelechx -- The two companies merged, yes, but people don't always stay at the same company forever. For instance, Nobuo Uematsu's left the company and now does his own stuff, but still does the FF stuff for Square Enix in addition to his own (they basically commission jobs, instead of giving him a regular salary). I don't know who these other people coming back to the team are, but they very well could have left to do other work in other companies.

Final Fantasy Versus 13 isn't what you think it is. It's not a cross over, there's no 'old games' to include. It's a stand alone story in the FF13 world.
