What the video comment says is all true, when looking back at the game as a whole from this video, theres SO MUCH MORE to it than already shown its crazy.

For me personally, I can say this was the first game I saved my money for when I was a kid, bought it on a ride to relatives and ended up reading and looking over the manual completely while in the car.. highly anticipating the game. Not to mention, my first copy of Nintendo Power (EVER) was with this game on the cover (its why I wanted it).

Wow, what an amazing video! I was inspired by this game growing up, and still am, It is so happy & colourful, such a joy! I am getting a tattoo in a couple of weeks of the scene where all the Yoshi are circled around baby Mario, where the bushes behind them have the smiling flowers and the rainbow vines/bush things on the left & the right, 1:11, I love Yoshi!

Those are great games too, but you can't deny or not acknowledge the sheer creativity and amazing greatness this game IS! This is definitely my favourite 2-D Mario game... some 3-D Mario games are absolutely excellent too though, such as Super Mario Sunshine.

Both of those games, rather unappreciated, but excellent games.

Wow, videos like this makes me so grateful I was able to grow up with the SNES and experience this wonderful game as a kid. Too bad the second last stage is filled with bugs due to countless hours on gaming duty, which makes it impossible to beat when the platforms just disappears.

And no, like I said this is a SNES game and if my memory is working today they even had to produce some extra chip or something to make it run on the SNES, I think it had to do with the graphics. =)

i use to hav this game for snes and i had 100%

score on every level and no i did not cheat

it was not easy tryin to keep baby mario on yoshis back for 100% but the minnie games that i unlocked were awesome

Thats what I love about this game. The difficulty is perfectly balanced as you go through the levels, and getting 100% is definitely not easy. It adds great replay value for veterans of these types of games.

Very good. My initial impression was not so good because I thought the first music you chose for the beginning didn't match the scenes you showed, that was of course until you started shooting eggs to match the music. You've managed to repeat a lot of the good things from your SMW1 video, including the slow scene which I think worked very well (very good choice of music btw). I guess the resolution/compression comes down to YouTube's limit of file size. Thank you for this, I love your videos :)

Totally agree! This game was part of my childhood, and it was so fun! It has something most games today copletely lack. Perhaps the fun element, character, or just variety? I'm not sure... but they sure don't make them like this anymore.
