just guessing but i think the coins you found from other countries were more than likely brought back by someone that was in the navy or maybe air force . the reason i say that is because my dad was in the navy and i have lots of the same coins that he brought back after he came home from ww2 . i enjoy your video's . i'm happy to see somebody from nc with my accent lol . i knew right off you had to live somewhere near me because the way we talk is a dead giveaway .
haha i think its a candaian coin lol its a british 2 pence piece and the writing says ich dien which is the prince of welsh saying but means i serve in german
hey are you the nuggetnoggin that got his name by eating mcdonalds chicken nuggets for a year straight?or the guy that loved to bop an weave as he used his noggin to taste other guys nuggets? if your neither one of these 2 guys sorry for the trouble of asking! theres not that many nuggetnoggins around just curious .
on several detectors you still get a signal on large iron even though its discriminated out. Better if its backed up with a good digital scale, like the Minelab detectors. If you get a large signal and you guess its iron always give it a poke you never know it could be a hoard.
Nugget, I've really enjoyed your videos. That 40/8 pin is from the 40 and 8 veterans organization. The organization was started by the returning veterans of WWI. That's a neat find. You can look them up on-line and read about their history. You'll also be able to learn why they are called the 40 and 8. Your doing a great job detecting and presenting your finds!! Keep it up......nyd
Its not a Canadian coin, Canadian Currency is Dollar and hence it should be cents for the Decimals. This coin is an English Pound Fraction called Pence or Penny. 100 Pence is equal to 1 Pound. This is a UK coin with Queen Elizabeth on the obverse.

I have disc on the garrett ace 250 , the plows are not iron because i found them on coin mode.
nuggetnoggin 2 years ago
yes, plows are iron. No worries. Metal leaches into the ground and fools most detectors. Metal detector "ID" is just what machine guesses item is.
roadkillscjim 2 years ago
You are the IRON King!! Doesn't the 250 have disc? Or do you preffer hunting all metal? Those tokens are SWEET!! Nice job!! Keep on hunting!
