I suppose that in our atomized society it is no surprise that so many people will argue against institutions and for the right of the individual to have whatever the hell he or she fancies at the time. If same-sex marriage doesn't hurt me, why should I object?
But I do object, because I do not want to live in a society that gives its stamp of approval to sodomy. If same-sex marriages are allowed the whole institution of marriage is tainted.

A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption. Even non-religious people know this.
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have succeeded at framing themselves as noble victims; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.

Vote YES for our government's top priority to be: GAY MARRIAGE! Imagine Congress arguing that! They'd never solve it, and they'd never stop trying. They'd fight, yell, pound their chests. There'd be media and gay parades.
Religions would swarm the whitehouse with picket signs, finally moved to action by their dearest cause -- protesting gay marriage.
MARDI GRAS!
That would keep both church and state busy and out of our way so us Americans could finally make some progress cleaning up their mess.

And this is an example of why the anti-gay folks in California are trying so hard to get the courts to prevent the public release of the videos from the Prop 8 trial. They are all just a bunch of blatant LIARS who pull stunts like this photo to spread their hate.
But when put on a witness stand, and forced to tell the truth under cross examination, their lies were exposed and their true motives of hate and bigotry were revealed. There is NO VALID REASON to deny equal marriage rights!!
