I've noticed that everything turns into a bitter argument on you tube even when it's about Christ. Is that a masculine quality.

@TrueInnovator159 No, i did. if anything my response was more to part 1, but I wasn't trying to offend anyone. just saying that his strict binaries concerning gender (which are shared by many like him) can arguably fuel very un-christlike behavior. What about young girls that like to play rough? Or young boys that like to play with dolls? By assuming that every man has to fit this limited notion of masculinity (and, women, femininity.) real violence becomes possible...homophobia, bullying, etc

@tangledupinblue326 Ah, okay. To an extent I agree with you. However, as Christian myself and a man (especially in the military), I've come to learn that real masculinity is something that a man must work very hard to achieve while striving to make his wife feel like royalty and loved (I am not married however). Men and women ARE EXTREMELY DIFFERENT. Men and women are equal in many aspects but in other areas we are not equal. God creates each & every person different for a purpose my friend.

@TrueInnovator159 Firstly, thank you for your service. I just think the situation gets a bit more complicated because not all women and men fit these strict categories. And some individuals aren't even born biologically fitting these strict categories (see intersex). In some ways, if one doesn't fit recognized categories, this negates/hinders one's existence. Each and every person is different, regardless of gender. In my opinion :)

@tangledupinblue326 Thank you, I appreciate that. True, true. I have seen documentaries about men and/or women being born with a great amount of feminine or masculine qualities and behaviors due to extra Y or X chromosomes during the fetus conception. That is why one must speak to men who have feminine characteristics differently in order to show them the proper way and why being born who we as men is important. They simply need the right guidance and understanding and not be criticized.

so plasticpuppy - just curious - what do you mean by "speech pentameter"? (pentameter is five feet in one poetic line)... One question - if someone is persuasive - does that mean necessarily that they are manipulating? Is it possible to be persuasive and not manipulative? Would it be better for Matt to be sort of choppy and monotone? Would that improve the "believabilty" for you? And what is Neuro-linguistic programming? Are you trained in it? Are you using it in your comment?

@adammoscow - Exactly- REAL is persuasive, but without the discernment of God we'll be so paranoid. Sometimes rightly so, sometimes not.

Wow, this guy recieved alot of training in Neuro-Linguistic programming.  His' speech pentameter, volume etc - all of it are hallmark. Christians are good people generally, unfortunately for the most part they are too domesticated to smell certain kinds manipulation in the wind.
