Thanks Jason! I use the rest stroke on the main melody (probably noticed). Barrios is right up there with Bach in my book. I'm workin' up the other two movements of La Catedral and Julia Florida, which I play at a master's class 6 or 7 years ago. I do move my right hand in relation to the sound hole quite a bit on Julia for tonal variation. Thanks again!
I love it. I like your use of dynamics, and I think you could even bring more of the subtleties out. I like to experiment with different right hand gradation techniques with this piece; such as moving closer to the sound hole and using rest strokes on the notes of the main melody, then further away and with free strokes to complete the line's rolling harmonic texture. or vice versa. I love Barrios so much, and I enjoyed your interpretation of this piece.
