If I were you i would move to Denver NC because its a nice place and they have good schools such as NLHS (North Lincoln High School).

I have a perfectly healthy child, and if I EVER heard of ANYTHING like this taking place where she attends school, I would withdraw her immediately and change schools, notify child protective services, and the Dept. of Human Services. Sending your children to a place where they have been threatened or abused is considered child endangerment. You could actually be held responsible. NEVER send them there again!

Yes you are right!! day that this fight happened I took my girls out of School and they were to never return, but I did put them on homebound (with a teacher) This did not help, along with everything that took place at this school, it just seem to get worse, when my daughter was to take a (state Math test) the teacher they sent from the school cheated for my daughter I reported it and now they say it is a personal matter (still trying to figure this one out).. These schools are horriable.

I am a parent of a student currently attending WOHS. I also have a child that has graduated from WOHS. The apathy (by the staff)you witnessed and had to deal is sadly typical of all the experiences our family has encountered.

I've actually had teachers and staff blame their incompetence on the students. My children had/have to chase teachers down to get them to simply do their jobs. I could go on for days but it won't do either of us any good at this point.

Regarding writing letters...Writing to the superintendent would do no good. That man is completely and totally useless as far as I am concerned. At a school board meeting spring 2008 he actually PRAYED, yes prayed! I've contacted the local media about this praying at a PUBLIC school board meeting and like you I've gotten no response. Even at the school itself there is praying going on, headed by the staff.

They will cover up, look the other way, and lie to protect one another and their "boss" is in on it.

I didn't mean to go on like this but my heart breaks for your daughters.

We as a family have dealt with a lot of crap from School all because my girls are wheelchair bound, we moved here because we had family here, but to give my girls a better life from what we all were going through in California and the School system there, never ever knowing what was instore for us here.

i graduated westover in 93 we had a different principal then.but on behalf of my class westover 93 i would like 2 appologize for the ways your daughters have been treated

And I believe that if the government takes over westover, there would be a high percentage of children not going to school and a high percentage of students wanting to go to westover for an education.

But the fact of the matter is there are different sections of teachers at westover. the teachers that just want the money, ones that can't find another job/ just wanna be a caoch, and the wanna that really care. This "Bear Huge" well the teachers are suppose to break up the fights, sometimes don't even care and want to see a good fight. Its overall "B/S". Plus if the school drops scores on EOC, it' will be SHUT DOWN and taken over by the government. so they try they're best to keep they're jobs.

Hello my name is Guillermo, I graduated from Westover High 2007. I've seen your daughters around westover alot. I just have to say that westover is just a like prison you have to be top dog or be eatten. It's really unblievable what your daughters had to go through there. Because my friend got kicked out for hitting a teacher and I sign a petition, lucky he left and still graduated this year.

I want to first say thank you for you comment and you are so very right about Westover, if you are nobody you mean nothing at that School. After I made this video you have no idea what they did to my girls, From passing them when they did no work (because they had no help from the teacher for that subject at the School). To a teacher cheating on a test (state level) It is truly unbelieveable at what has gone on over there..

I am shocked at the things we have encounter at this School and I can tell you if this was anywhere else this would never of gone on like this because of all the Schools I have delt with in my time would never allowed these things to go on like they have, We did not even know if my oldest would graduate until the day they handed it to her at the crown. I only pray that more people see this video and pass it along so more people see it and someone comes out of the wood work to hear the truth.
