good job Dave, keep your healthy diet. your HB1AC is 5 which is very good. do you still taking antidiabetic drugs, if so just be careful with Metformin (Diabex) cause it is quite danger to take it when you have kidney impairment. just let your GP know and they may modify the Metformin dose for you. I have been greatly impressed by 'Dave The Raw Food Trucker' - I feel that his video 'diaries' really resonate with people like me both in the US and the UK who are working class, living in urban inner city areas - he has a great spirit and a wonderful twinkle in his eye! An unexpected aspect of 'going raw' that isn't always spoken about. I hope that one day soon I will have the courage to give this 'life style' a go - but right now I am happy to worship at the alter of his charm, and grace!

@490lbs and on three medicines for blood pressure and stomic issues and two family members(Brother&Cousin) passed away from diabetes I am very encouraged to learn of Dave's life changing transformation. I also have social phobia which my weight magnifies many times over. I am going to try raw foods as a last ditch effort to control my weight. I enjoy raw carrots and cauliflower so I don't think I will have many problems with other raw foods. T hank's Dave and HealingNRG for the encouragement.
