The WWII heros and our elderly are really being disrespected by our government because of the pharm. and med. lobby driving up the costs. Social security system isn't keeping up with costs and our elderly are or will be soon eating dog food in order to survive. What a disrespect to the heros of freedom.

Medicare is financially in worse shape than Social Security. As Baby Boomers retire in mass beginning about 2010, their absents will effect the economy with less earnings and taxes paid, and begin to draw on their SS and Medicare. Taxes will be raised to pay for this as both systems are bankrupt. The bill will be huge.
