@goanimator999 I don't know if you've noticed this... but the track's a Bad Meets Evil song, NOT a Bruno Mars record. Eminem and Royce ended up putting Bruno by mistake... that, or they needed airplay on the radio. If anything, Bruno Mars fucked up the song with his extremely high voice. Bruno does not belong in a hip-hop track, every major review of the EP points out how annoying hearing him sing is.

I wish I could help you out on that one. I doubt they'll ever release the original version. But hopefully it leaks. Until then, I guess you can try finding an acapella and mixing it with another beat.

The original track was rougher, had a different beat and the chorus was rapped by Em and Royce. To be honest, it's the same to me whether it would have been Bieber or Mars. They're both pop artists with a high voice who don't belong in rap tracks, the whole song is just plain awkward if you're a hip-hop head or have listening to Eminem or Royce for a while now, including their old school BME tracks. In short, Bruno just doesn't fit the track even with all the changes made to it.

@LikeColdFire i know that he doesnt fit in and 10 years ago he woulda made fun fun of bruno and his hat but he didnt and he did put bruno in it and i respect his discion eminem isnt slim shady anymor , which is the message of the song , yeah the ol days were fun but he's grown as a artist . pop artist are in rap songs all the time now and it helps explain the message in a different light . i hope this comment helps u understand !!!!

@TheAnt147 It hasn't been released, Royce and Eminem have mentioned how it was without Bruno. It was also gonna be in Royce's album, not on Hell: The Sequel.

My guess is that they wanted airplay, so they decided to feature Bruno so he could do the same to the song and album as Rhianna did with Love The Way You Lie & Recovery.
