Well that at a local cemetery is quite strange... but since this is an all family ride, I guess is OK. It's good they left the two queues separated so that those like me who do not like this new queue can go the other way around.

@AAAAALLLLLDDDDDOOOOO It's part of the new interactive line they have recently just put in at The Haunted Mansion in Disneyworld. It's a very fun-looking little thing, and the statues are part of a game. You are supposed to guess who killed who out of all 5, I believe (while you're waiting in the line). Gives you something to do. lol :)

I love how they named the pipe organ a "Ravenscroft" after the late great singer Thurl Ravenscroft...lead voice in the graveyard sequence and one of the best bass singers of all time!

SPOILERS: By the way, I DID prefer the old attic bride over the new Black Widow Bride. I liked her better when she was silent and therfore more mysterious and in a strange way I almost empathized with her. Now, she's just a head chopping murderess who gave me blunt force trauma to the head with her new backstory. Why do things have to be spelled out for everyone these days? What happened to giving people 2+2 but letting them come up with 4? Mystery and the imagination are what makes things scary

People, people let's think this through for a minute. There is a difference between being "outright scary," which the Haunted Mansion was never inteneded to be and being "creepy BUT fun" which the mansion was and hopefully always will be. This new queue addition doesn't take away from the mansion's aura and as several others have already said, this new addition isn't forced on you and can be opted out of. I think it is very interesting and hope to one day experience this addition in person.

everyone needs to stop bitching. its a great addition. alot of people enjoy it and have fun with it. and i dont know if anyone knew this but you have the OPTION to go through this new section or to skip it, so for you people that think it ruins the atmosphere, the line splits off so that those who choose not to don't have to go through it, so it's a win-win situation and everyone should probably stop complaining.

I have a love / hate relationship with this new line, yes it's really cool and you'll have a lot of fun while waiting in line and interacting, but if it's your first time going on the ride, you're already gonna know what to expect; a fun and silly haunted house ride. When I first went on this in 2003, I didn't know what to expect, and was kinda scared to go on it, with just the tombstones and wolf howling. If anything, they should have all this stuff when you exit.

I dunno.. I never found the haunted mansion to be spooky, i always found it to be fun. I think this is actually a great addition to the mansion. Its a good way to keep you entertained while you are waiting in line w/o taking away from the mansion. If you ever read all the tombstones, they were never scary, they were always witty. Anyway, thats just my opinion

I think this is something I'll have to experience in person. It was still under construction when I was there at the beginning of February. I always loved the vibe and spookiness of walking up to the house, and this kind of takes away from that. But maybe it'll be more spooky at night. Here's hoping.

I am not sure how I feel about this addition. It would have been fine on almost any other attraction, but this is a serious buzz kill on the outside vibe of the mansion, and changes expectations about what is ahead in the attraction. In my opinion, it should have been kept simple, and elegant, just like the Disneyland original.

@FroggycompanyinHD but it does get incredibly busy at peak seasons (i.e. many parts of the summer, thanksgiving, and week before, of and after christmas, and the week of New Year's). This is just like Pooh's line, sure it may be longer, but it doesn't feel like that because you're having so much fun with it.

I don't think people are getting the point of this. Yes, the Haunted Mansion is supposed to be scary, but I'm sure that Disney's intention wasn't to scare the crap out of people like the mazes at Halloween Horror Nights. The Haunted Mansion is still creepy! But remember, it was also planned to have a goofy side to it. The only thing that they are doing is adding to the goofy side. They still used gravestones and tombs. The only thing goofy about them are the sayings and pictures on them.

Some of these comments are really pathetic. Some people will moan when The Haunted Mansion is getting 'Old and dated', yet, they're moaning when they add something new.

I, for one, think it's a fantastic addition. As you can see in the video, people are really liking it, kids especially. Great addition imo.
