yeah, I agree with that.. I have the Ghia Model. And I think Ford has also a good quality in the interior, and I was quite impressed by the IPS system..
The Intelligent Protection System controls every safetyprogram of the car. It adapts the Airbag to your weight and uses only the airbags that are needed( front impact.. only front airbag explodes) and only the aribags explode when somebody is sitting there. It also works with shut down motor and parked car, and if you are making an emergency breaking it closes all the windows and strengthts the seatbelt and a lot more.. And Sorry for my english
@Denisdog34 Yes it was actually introduced in 2000 with the new Ford Mondeo Design (the one you drive), so don't worry, also you have it. It is not an optional that you have to choose, it is installed also in the cheapest Ford Mondeo, (and today in every Ford). But I surely hope that you will never have to try it :)
