  • gooberspal, it is a three-note chord, at the 14-15 fret. dgb strings. the e and bflat at the 14/15 are bent slightly sharp while the d is held constant on top.

  • At 8 years old (too much info!), this was the first 45 record I bought. A week or two thereafter, my first LP album was Etta James (w/ "Roll with Me Henry", "Woman", "Do Something Crazy", "Good Rockin' Daddy", "Strange Things Are Happening", etc.)!

    "Bluesette (Bluzette?)" is my most favorite Jimmy Smith song!
