I played Defender on MAME and it's absolutely addictive and brilliant !

The only black spot on the game, in my opinion, are the controls.

There's a button for thrust,another for hyperspace,one for smartbomb,the button that reverses your ship and the fire button !

They are responsive and that's OK but there are so MANY OF THEM !

Yes, but that's the way it was in the arcade, so you're getting a fairly authentic experience.

I have a video of the original Game Boy version on here somewhere. That one was probably as good as you could expect considering the limitations of the original Game Boy, but blurring on the b&w lcd screen is a bit of a problem.

yeah thats true about the blurring, but i find it better when using the gameboy color.
