bungie did a great job with forge! i hope that 343 can do the same, but improve it with a larger map, bigger budget limit, the ability to make PROPER frigates and ships by including "aircraft/ ship parts & blocks" and "cockpit computers" and "mac guns and airship turrets" and "ship engines" and all those types of things. make it so we can spawn pelicans and phantons (but nothing bigger) dont make it that we can spawn large flying ships like frigates coz that would ruin the fun of building ships!

@KI11ERSHARK18 unfortunately no they cant. the whole idea behind the budget is that it controls the number of polygons in the game. so basically the more stuff you have the more polygons and the engine has to work harder to remember anything. if you go into any complicated forge map that has the budget used up + spawns and Obj's the map gets really laggy and that is because of polygon overload and Z fighting. that obviously leads to poor gameplay and overall unsatisfied fans.

4 Forge Worlds: 1 indoors, one outdoors, one in the sky, and one that has variety

Terrain Changing: (do I want this area totally flat, or made into a steep hill? do I want water here?)

Changeable themes: do I want this area to be more desert or more snow than grass? Do I want my objects to have a covenant, human, or forerunner style to them? Do I want a desert covenant look or a forerunner snow look?

@oldmanjenkins44 we should also be able to put enimies on it, make them like guard the base you made them, patrol on ghosts, snipe UNSC people on mountains, even have a covenant leader who gives orders. you should also be able to add marines on there, and you and some buddies could all team up against thinking enimies, alongside marines you programed! now, that would be aesome!

we also need to be able to forge from our computers, and because we are using a mouse and keyboard, making a cool map or level is even easier. (Interface is better)

I also saw that someone wants a snap to object option, so that we don't have to deal with coordinates as much. You would be able to turn this off if it became a problem. This I like a lot.

Random Question:

I was trying out one of my recently completed forge maps a few minutes ago, I was the only one playing (it was offline) and I was using the armor ability "Active Camo." When I turned it on my radar was showing all these red dots around me, I have never noticed this before and was wandering if using Active Camo stuffs up your radar or if its a glitch. Can anybody plz elaborate?

Every time I start to build a building, when it's almost done, I look at the budget and it's extremely low. So then I'm thinking "Okay what can I delete that I don't need?". Halo Custom Edition is in my opinion the best 'forge-like' mode of Halo. Even in Halo reache, you cant literally Build your own map. I think if anything forge-world is a user-friendly version of Halo custom edition, which, as everyone whos made a map for halo Custom Edition knows, its slightly less complicated than bungie actually Making a map from scratch.

@supask8a23 The building is built on a 90 degree angle making it where you can scale walls. Try downloading Cubeskew and solve the puzzle. Takes hours.
