The date was Dec 12, 1994. 4-12-1994 is the European date, the day, then month, then year is how they list dates. So no, it was not immediately after Kurt's death. She wasnt on tour with Hole until August. Also, this was just an improv made up on the spot by Courtney.

BlancheDubois: Live through this came out like a week after the death. Courtney plugged the album in interviews about Kurt's death and even stated that it was bad taste to do so. No judging anything, just stating what happened.

OK and ??? I know you're not judging anything, but I know when LTT came out, I bought it the day it was released. I also have a back catalogue of all of Courtney's interviews...what was your point? Mine was that unless intentional, the date 4-12-1994 is incorrect unless you look at it as the European date. This song was from a show in December, not April.

BlancheDubois: The perosn who uploaded the vid is from The Netherlands, so they were using their dating system. It's not incorrect as it still is interpreted the same no matter how it is written. (The military also has a unique way of writing the date, BTW.)
