Think I will try this. A word of advice to icrangirl though: Keeping your cool and not panicking makes a world of difference in how well you do in games. I don't know how you're supposed to hurt Dr. Wily, but considering you're given two cape feathers before your fight with him, I would venture to guess you're supposed to whip him with your cape. Or possibly whip the bolts back at him.

Also, the bolts he shoots at you, if he's on either side, I found that, in Mega Man 7, they're easier to dodge if you first jump to lure them upwards, then run under the huge gap at the bottom.
