It's amazing how the behavior and look of an insect will affect perception of how they are viewed by humans. The common housefly for example shares many physical traits with the Dragonfly, yet is rightly despised as the fecal dwelling, disease spreading scavenger that it is...

In contrast the more ominous, larger predator Dragonfly is elegant and beautifully marked in rainbow colors and has a fascinating and entertaining flight ability. No housefly land on me and lives, dragonfly are welcome!
