Good question, it was chaos, fires everywhere, the fire engines never came on our street, just a small fire truck. Didn't see a fireman until several hours after the fire started in our area.
My Uncle, Len Dreyer, lives on High Tree Circle. His house didn't burn down, but the next house up the hill did, and so did three houses nearby down the hill. His house suffered only very minor damage, they were very lucky.
I use to live on High Tree Cir at the end of the cul de sac to the left at 222735, is there a way you can let me know of the status of that house thanks
I believe the house with back to Hidden Hills Road is okay but last house with back to the canyon is completely destroyed. There are two houses on that side are destroyed.
Our house is the 1 story at the end of the cul de sac to where the side yard of it is parallel to hidden Hills rd to where you can see the house if on Hidden Hills, as we lived on High Tree cir.
I was wondering if anyone can take a pic of it so I can send it along to my parents.
I forgot in case it helps, if it is still there we had a square like gazebo and it has a pool and the backyard faces another house's side yard/back that is on Hidden Hills.
Hi, took a drive down High Tree Circle, that house is still there! Probably because it's not by the wild brush. One in the middle of the street is destroyed, so are what looks to be one or more at the end of the circle.
It was crazy, 50+ mph winds, for the house in the video, pretty sure it started from some vines on the fireplace. For the house to the right, it looked like it started in the middle of the roof, so from flying embers.
Hey Steve, thats Johns house, my parents live to the right of him, The motor home got hit hard from the flames, and there backyard its horrible what happend to all the neighbors. Glade to see your house is okay...

how did your house survive...did you do anything fire preventative?
berkompaske 3 years ago
Yes, there are no plants or bushes against our house, and a large grassy areas between the native brush and our house.
