  • roger,,,una,leyenda

  • FedereR made a history. True champ. Come on Rogerr!!!!!

  • The best thing to happen in my life is if roger wins 17th grand slam ! That's One purpose in my life ;d

But IF nadal will have more GS than Federer .... maybe 18-19 that would be the second purpose in my life ;d

And if nadal is the greatest of all time i'm also pleased that my favourite player Davydenko is better than Nadal because he is 6-4 to nadal so ... Three time win for me

  • @mechkapechka But Nadal has a winning record against Fagderer in the slam finals , and big stages are what really matter . I mean they're far important that the Doha crap for sure . That's where the baldy rat gets a fluke attention .

  • @ibanezatleti talk you don't anger me :D

  • Pienso que a Federer le quedan 2 Grand Slams mas... contando este Wimbledon... asi es...

  • federer's back ... let's show Nadal what you are made of !

Let's take revenge fEAT HIM IN HIS OWN LAND

LETS BEAT HIM IN THE FRENCH

  • @jonatev00

If Nadal gives him that opportunity. He didn't reach the final last year so Roger could hardly be blamed for that.

  • You mean like the way Federer gave Nadal the opportunity to beat him at the 2008 Wimbledon?

  • @mariomarcano

Exactly, that's just what I meant.

Now please, go and support your favourite tennis player, Rafael Nadal, and stop being an armchair critic who has achieved sweet Fanny Adams in his life.

  • In fact, I'm a fan of Federer, but that doesn't mean that I hate Nadal... Nadal is my 2nd favorite player...

I dislike the way Federer's fans and Nadal's fans discuss in a war of words, insulting one or the other.

If I have to defend Federer, I'll be there... and if I have to defend Nadal, I'll also be there...

  • @mariomarcano

If you didn't make such an obscure comment, I wouldn't have responded in such a sarcastic manner.

Please, tell me what Wimbledon 2008 has to do with what I said? My comment was in reference to Nadal not reaching the final of RG last year. Nothing to do with Wimbledon.

As for you being a fan of Federer, you could have fooled me tbh. Whenever I read anything posted by you about Federer, it seems to be be critical while praising Nadal. That's not the behaviour of a fan imo.

  • @Ryan81M

    Federer is the best :D

  • Jonatev00 supported Federer by saying that he should beat Nadal ''in his own land, let's beat him in the french'' and you answered him that If ''Nadal gives him that opportunity''

Then I asked you if you meant like the way Federer gave Nadal the opportunity to beat him at the 2008 Wimbledon.

Don't fool yourself... you know that Federer has had at least 3 OPPORTUNITIES to beat Nadal at Roland Garros... and he has squandered ALL... Nadal COULD HARDLY BE BLAMED FOR THAT...

  • @mariomarcano

Yes, and I was referring to Roland Garros 2009. Many Nadal fans diminish his win by saying that he did not beat Nadal to win the tournament.

It is not Federer's fault that he failed to reach the final.

And by the way, when you say "squandered" you make it sound as if he deliberately wanted to lose. In 2008 he was losing to all the top players, his confidence was a lot lower than it usually is and so it was not surprising. Nadal is the King of Clay after all.

  • You´re right, it´s silly to put an asterisk on Federer´s win, supposedly because he didn´t beat Nadal... Federer won fair and square... after all, as you point out, it isn´t his fault that Nadal failed to reach the final...

  • When I say that Federer ´´squandered all´´, I don´t want to make it sound like if ´´he deliberately wanted to lose´´; I want to point out that he DID have OPPORTUNITIES to beat Nadal at Roland Garros in both 2006 and 2007 (he didn´t have the slighest chance in 2008) and that he didn´t take advantage of them...

  • Nadal had 3 opportunities to beat Federer at Wimbledon, and he could take 1...

Nadal has defeated Federer ''in his own land'', while Federer has never defeated Nadal ''at his place''.

AND BOTH HAVE HAD AN EQUALLED NUMBER OF ''OPPORTUNITIES''.

Sorry, but credit where credit is due... and in that time, the credit was due to Nadal, not to Federer...

  • @mariomarcano

Yes, he took one where Federer was clearly out of sorts. The difference is, when Federer was playing without the confidence he normally displays, he made the final in "his own land" and took Nadal to 5 sets where he could have lost in 3.

When Nadal was low on confidence/playing badly, he lost in the 4th round in "his own land" and came nowhere near defending his trophy.

Why there should be so much criticism of Federer for Wimby 2008 is very puzzling.

  • ´´When Nadal was low on confidence/playing badly, he lost in the 4th round in "his own land"´´

I should point out that Nadal´s confidence wasn´t low in that moment, and that he wasn´t playing badly... he was the world No.1 by then, and had, once again, been the author of the best clay court season before Roland Garros; HE JUST GOT SHOCKED by Soderling that day, that´s all...

Nobody is criticizing Federer´s 2009 Roland Garros victory.

  • When I asked you about the 2008 Wimbledon, you replied ''exactly, that's just what I meant''... so, I know that you alredy KNEW what it had to do with what you had said before (otherwise, you wouldn't have ANSWERED)

Maybe each time you read anything I post, you read something that criticizes Federer or praises Nadal; that's in this video, and in a couple more... but in a bunch of other videos, I stand up for Federer...

  • @mariomarcano

    It's called sarcasm.

In a couple more? Well, whenever I read anything you post, you are doing nothing but criticizing Federer, supposedly your favourite tennis player and praising Nadal. It is almost as if you get a perverse pleasure out of seeing Nadal win, just so you can criticize Federer more.

The reason I do not criticize Federer is because I know he always tries his best and that I wouldn't be one to talk in any case.

  • I don´t have anything against Federer or Nadal... and as a matter of fact, I enjoy watching Federer when he defeats Nadal...

  • Roger u r the best & beyond comparison. I feel sorry for the people who compare you with any of the other players even of the past.
