@215alessio Cont... so to put it bluntly a single cyl fires every 2nd rotation. all cylinders fire in turn 180 deg after each other. but i would love to see the calculation for your theoryand give us all a laugh.
as for research! i think you need it alot more than me, or you can read what ive just told (which is the right version and not the "i live with the fairy's and talk shit version) and learn how an engine actually works.
@215alessio ha ha ha omg, you actually think you know how an engine works, well i sure hope you dont work in a garage. il make this as clear as i can. each cyl has four strokes, 180 deg apart. now 180 deg multiplyed by 4 strokes ( induction compression power exhaust) = 720 deg. now write this down if its to complicated for you, toy now take 720 degrees and divide it by the number of cylinders, which is 4! what do you get? 180 degrees. therefore to make a full revolution 2 cyl fire every rotation
4 cyl engines have 2 power strokes per rotation not 1 and firing order doesnt have tha much to do with balancing. a mitsubishi galnt v6 has a firing order of 1-2-3-4-5-6. also why would there be a gap before number 3 fires? 1 cyl fires every 2 rotations, for stroke cycle is 720 degrees, 720 degree divded by four strokes = 180 degrees. arent these pistons 180 degree to each other or can you see something noone else can?
that would be one rough running engine. you have 3 firing in a row, then a break, then have number 3 fire. the typical 4 cylinder arrangement is...
[T][B][B][T] T = top dead center, B = Bottom dead center. this and the firing order would be 1,3,4,2 that's so every cycle it has 1 piston firing, and that equals a smooth engine
It won't necessarily run "rough" but it may sound that way. This engine appears to have cross plane cranks similar to what Yamaha uses on their latest generation R1 and race bikes.
@EMIR72CC lolol you are wrong, this animation shows a cross plane crank 4 cylinder. yamaha r1's use a cross plane crank. so like Biddybalboa said, stroke my cock with your thumbs up

This would be a spuper balanced 4 cyl but in reality the seqence doesn't go that way.
Piston 2 and 3 go up at the same time while piston 1 and 4 go down at the same time
ignition seqence 1342

@homsey173 wrong: 4 cyl:1 power stroke per rotation of the crankshaft. I guess you have to do better research

Cylinders don't move period. You're talking about the pistons.
