ok im making a video game for a self project. but i mite give it to my friend to use in a classroom. it involves an indiana jones style play to answer questions as a chapter review but i cant have ANY copyright material. is the copyrighted?
@aznien9 Can understand that. I suppose the Irish can say the same thing. What's old and new. Is there anything new 'under heaven'. Go back far enough - everything coming from what came before.
I get your point though. Maybe something in all of us as human beings - looking to the past as something better than the present. Even in a lifetime we all do that.
I'd love to ride a camel in the desert, gazing at the Pyramids as I ride by, also I'd love to wear the traditional head ware that the Ancient Pharaohs wore as well. I want to visit Egypt so badly. Hopefully one day I will. :)
Something about the 'ancient' with Egypt that gives you a sense of the ancient - not least your ancient soul. Like you've been in all these places before :-) I have no idea if there is any truth in that. But you do get a sense of deja vu some times. Love the country - culture - language - music, here and other N African countries.
@Gullytale i don't know what deja vu means .. but about this sense i am sure not all people feel the same way .. but i can use a sentence that god said in meaning " we created u different people to let u konw each other " something near to that :) u may get this sense of ancient egyptians that the original egyptians these days don't feel :D funny ha ;)
@IEGYPTI Another Amed. I have a friend called Ahmed from Egypt. Deja Vu is French. It means something like 'seen before.' You visit some place you have never been before and you get a very strong feeling that you have been there before. Seen it before. Or meet someone for the first time and like you have known them in another place, another time. Kinda like re incarnation. I might have been an ancient Egyptian a few life times ago :-)
@Gullytale :D most of names here always be ahmed , mohamad . mahmoud .. and so on so it is not hard for u to remember ;) yes now i got what u meant by deja vu .. well i think u have an extra feelings or sense of things around u .. and if u think u have been in egypt before .. i think u may consider ur name as " cleopatra " .. why not ;)) no " lara " anymore :p btw if u have fb and if u like u can add me there .. u r always welcome ;)
@IEGYPTI Oh nooooooooo. Not Cleo. She was always fiddling with her asp, till it bit her and she dropped dead. when you're older you'll get it too. Deja Vu. You will remember you were some grand Celtic Warrior with a huge castle and lots of bootie :-)
and I learned Déjà-vu means that something happend to you, what happened before, so you get that special feeling "omg, I did the same thing some time ago!" I never had such Déjà-vus, (just such feelings that I went through the same before, like I walk through that live again, and the more I had that the more times it felt to me...) but now in the last days I (also) had these Déjà-vus multiple times o_O ...
@Gullytale Im not exactly sure what it is or what culture you love about egypt... Do you love the arab culture or do you love the original african culture. The history of egypt all comes from sub saharan africa from Meroe and Cush/Nubia. A lot of people try equating egyptians to arabs, but that is false and wrong. Egypt is african history and african culture and not colonizing islamic arab culture.
when i was living in sharm el sheikh, one day i heard this song... and i become crazy for it. for one year i've tryed to know the name in everyplace end everywhere, asking to everybody but nothing... also my egiptians friends don't knew her name. tonight, finally i found it!!!! the must beautiful, sensual, magic music in the word! love my egipt, forever inside my heart! ana bahebk awe awe awe! ana bamoot fik!
I would adore to visit. Greetings from Upstate New York USA. I have always found Middle Eastren culture,Music and people to be very kind and have extremely good manners. Something I wish could be here. I was raised to be a lady and lots of people do not do that anymore. I would like to get know more about Eygpt and the surrounding area! I will visit one day. Thank you for sharing your beautoful music with us. May peace be upon you and your family and freinds.
@kitcat2011able Wow there let me back you up as every leading anthropologist/historian and anthro major knows this. The egypt you love is modern and arab islamic. Egypt is originally african in origin and not part of the middle east. I would suggest visiting southern rural egypt were you will see some ethic egyptians still around. But if you go to northern egypt you will experience nothing truly egyptian(Kemetian). Only arabian and islamic culture since there invasion in 639 AD.
@IEGYPTI Is it save to visit Egypt right now after the uprising? Egypt is the country i would most like to visit right now :D Egypt and the rest of the greater middle east are the mothers of the world. Greetings from Indonesia.
@TheQueenAtlantic maybe there are some problems left happen .. but as a tourist it is safe for u and also these days alot of people of europe started to come back again
@TheQueenAtlantic Egypt is not part of the middle east first of all. The islamic culture is part of the middle east. Secondly Egypt is originally african culture. Third of all there are three places where civilization started. Nile valley africa, middle east mesopatamia and, indus india/pakistan.
Congratulations for your freedom. Your country and the middle east is such an amazin place. I hopw there will never be a (new) war between our cultures, religions and so on. The best things to do is to lern about each others cultures.
@eselpopo thx my friend i hope so also .. sice in middle east we don't want problems or troubles between here and western side about religions or cultures we respect all people and thats what we have always tought .. and most thing i care about is that people out of middle east understand what arabs or muslims are and get the truth among their eyes not what they hear and so on ..
@DiviinePk well what ever your reading i hope its right. Egypt is not originally an arabic country. Egypt was an african civilization up until the ptolelmaic(Roman) dynasty and its history starts from the south being upper egypt were pharaoh Narmer(Menes) established the first captial of Memphis in 3200 BC, which is why the crown off Hedjet is representing upper egypt or the south were the egyptians originated from, next to there sister civilzation nubia which built more pyramids in Meroe.
you know guys pharoahs were not niggars they were just light brown half was light brown and half was white many gods were white and many people was white they niggars were slaves
whenever how Far awaY from her buT egypt in my blood even 3 months only in the year i get away from her but i love her as it's a part from my heart ... im EGYPTION and im proud ........
@BITAOA Proud of what exactly? Egypt is truly african history, so what your proud of im not sure. Unless you have heritage going back to the original african and pharoanic periods of egypt and even further back to nubia and cush its older sister civilization... im sure what your trying to convey here. If you mean your proud of being a modern arab egyptian then thats cool i guess.
