@Zenpalmelao sorry for the late reply, but the holes as fas as i know... they are for sand not dirt, they give a lil bit more power and airflow butt u must have the filter cover on.

how do you like the 540 kit on that? and did you haft to balance your crank for the new piston? i want to do the kit but dont want to tear into the gearcase very bad but im afraid if i dont balance the crank it will blow in half ha just curious if you did or have had any problems with that or overheating and also what is your jetting still around a 175 main? thanks!

@raptzilla He has a the XC which is completely different than the SX.There is no 540 big bore kit for the SX.You can upgrade the 450SX to a 477 which is basically the 505SX.If you want more power and torque just get the 505SX.55WHP with full exhaust and intake.GL
